EGGBUTT Horse Verbindend Bit Snafflle Double Jointed Lozenge Fat with German Silver & Steel (5.5 Inches)

Well made sturdy bit. My mare is sensitive in the mouth - this bit sits beautiful and provides the soft aid I am looking for.

The bit visually looks nice but once you look at the connections, you can see just how poorly it was made. Lots of rough unfinished spots and chunks missing. Definitely returning and not using.

I bought this to try before I bought the expensive version. This o e is holding g up well. I have not seen and sharp edges that other have talked about. I will however keep an eye on it thou knowing. My 3yr filly seems to like this one alot better than the thicker versions of other brands.

My horse was in a $160 Neue Schule verbindend loose ring. I wanted to try an eggbutt on her and she loves this bit. For $30 how could you go wrong? I have bought other "cheap" bits on Amazon and they sometimes have rough spots or the hinge of the rings doesn't move freely. Not so with this bit. It's fully finished and polished, and has a nice weight to it which a soft mouthed horse tends to prefer. 10/10 recommend.
