I love this hair tool!! It is multi functional, which is exactly what I wanted. It works great on thick hair, and helps give me a blow out look. I straighten the top of my hair to smooth it out and use the curling part to do the ends. I like the different temp settings, as I need a pretty high setting for my hair to hold a curl.

I love the end result, but the locking mechanism keeps coming loose. A minor detail so I deducted a star.

I recommend using an oil based styling spray when you use this product the first time after you shampoo.It holds the styling longer and your hair will shine!

Nice product. The bristles on the iron is hard to use though.

I bought 2 of these and they do not work. I bought one several years ago and loved it but the latch broke so I wanted another but neither work. Very disappointed.

This is my 2nd one. I like the tool. Last one just got dirty & could no longer lock it closed. That lock could be placed in a better location than where one holds it to style. It often gets triggered unintentionally. Otherwise a good tool for straightening & for adding curve & style. Good heat though should have more choices for desired heat. Size is excellent for styling & flat ironing.Not sure what you mean by sheerness?
