When I first got this frother, it made great froth. It took longer than the smaller one I had, but I expected that.It lasted about 6 months, and just quit.Edit: The company sent me a new frother, and it seems to be working well. Good customer service. They do stand by their product.

This is a great frother. Highly recommend. I use it several times a day. Makes great froth- hot or cold using regular milk or plant based (i use almond milk daily) Easy to clean and great quality.

I had to replace one that died and searched a lot for a new one that wouldn’t over spill and would heat and froth. This takes a little longer than my other one but it works beautifully! Easy to clean too.

Like a few other comments on here, mine also completely stopped working out of the blue after having it for 2 months. While it was working the product was great. Now it seems like I wasted 40$ on a product that’s a dud

Update: Whipping died after 6 months. Heating works (but what's the point, haha). Company was super nice about sending a replacement, so we'll see how that holds up!I am vegan, and this thing froths the living froth out of the soy milk from Trader Joe's! It's almost too much froth, honestly, but my hot chocolates have been wonderful. I do not bother using the lid as it has not been entirely necessary. This review comes after only a few days of use, so I can't speak to durability.For comparison, my partner also has a whipperfrother, and theirs seems to be way easier to clean (based on using the same soy milk in each). This one really needs a forceful scrub to get everything off, and it did not come with a special brush as some others do. Also of note, the base/stand feels incredibly cheap — you will not feel impressed if that's the first thing you pick up out of the box. Lastly, sometimes the whisk pops out when dumping water out after rinsing; I'm afraid it's going to fall down our drain and get lost forever. I would like if that was a more secure attachment point, or if each unit came with an extra frother, or if the vendor sold replacement frothers.In all, I bought this because the price compared to the capacity was great, and I like the look. Due to the cleaning difficulty, I would buy the one my partner has if this one breaks. That said, I do not regret this purchase at all.
