Very very strong magnet works good with a pew pew with a redot on it very impressed with this mount i would recommend useing the screws the adhesive they had on the back of mount was no where near strong egnouph would definitely recommend

I keep my .357 at my computer, and recently upgraded my control stand from a home made structural steel rig, to an aluminum extrusion rig. Suddenly, I had far less flat space to store things. However, by my estimate, I have a whole lot of unused underside, but gravity keeps getting in the way.Enter the magnet. This holder is made for square slide pistols, but also works extremely well with wheel guns. The magnet is very strong, and if you’re mounting to steel, you won’t need screws. My pistols detach from the magnet, and the magnet STAYS PUT. Eat it, Gravity!

The magnet is great and would be great if I screwed the mount to something but I planned on using it for the inside of my car. The sticky thing is horrible!! To the touch it had zero grip. And I can’t screw this into my car. I ended up buying double sided gorilla tape, it’s super thick and durable and is working fantastic!

Very strong magnet. I would recommend using JB Weld Epoxy if you have a heavier gun and don’t want to drill holes !

The double-stick mounting tape is as bad as everyone says, maybe worse. I thought I would use the mounting tape along with screws for a little extra support; however, the tape would not support the magnet long enough to put the screws in.I mounted the magnet using the screws and tested the holding strength by driving up and down the worst road that know of and the magnet held the handgun with no problem.Plan to mount the magnet using screws or purchase a better double-sided mounting tape, because the mounting tape provided is useless.
