Useless does not serves any purpose
No reduction in noise for sudden loud sound or for meditation etc. Just fooling around business

Excellent product.
Hands down the best in the market. Disappointed with the delay in delivery, but super impressed with the product. I personally like to have the string removed and use the buds independently. The mini container is very useful. Overall, fully satisfied.
