Needed a good hammer for the camper. This item worked great. Was able to pick up a new stake canvas bag and keep them all in one spot. The hammer is very light weight and easy to swing. The hook on the other side makes it easy to pull the stakes up at the end. Will more than likely change out the lanyard for paracord.

I use the hammer to stake down outdoor rug. It's works very well. It's lightweight but heavy enough to hammer in the stakes. It also has a hook at the end of the handle to remove them when it's time to take the rug up. We keep in bag with the rug and stakes.

Heavier than expected, but honestly right in line with the product description. Good for car camping but probably not one you're going to want to take backpacking due to weight.

I have used this on rocky ground and was able to get the stakes in and pull back out again. The orange color has come in handy during on-coming storms when it was dark and the fly had to be staked down very quickly. It is light-weight and does not make a significant difference to pack weight.

We saw a name brand, 3 times the cost of this, and decided to get this one. It does great and pulls out stakes so much easier than with a regular hammer. Great addition to our camping equipment.

I liked this stake hammer. Thought the weight was good and loved the stake puller. Used it for staking out a 180 degree awning for overland trips. But on the 3rd camp setup the head broke right in the middle of staking everything out. Until the break, I would have said 5 stars. Now I'm figuring out what to replace it with.

Seems to be rugged. So far I have used it to stake down a large tarp, which covers my wood pile. It's very light and compact, but worked fine. I could see this being a handy tool for backpackers. Price was good too. I doubt that this will ever break or wear-out.
