Samsung Galaxy A03s, 32GB, Black - Prepaid Smartphone (Locked)

If your looking for a phone that works and is cheap. This is good. Especially if you are an HOA military person and they still have the restrictions with the phones. Function well, good quality.

This was a great phone. It didnt have enough storage for me for all the work and personal stuff I need to download. I have serval older friends that this phone works perfect for.

I bought this to replace my 8 year old samsung tracfone which i liked alot until it died. My review: Size: this phone is at least 30% larger than my old phone. Fortunately I do not carry it around often so it probably won't be a major issue. However, if you are looking for a portable phone that will fit in a regular pocket, be aware. Set up: tracfone support was useless. They wanted to send me a code to complete the set up, but my old phone was broken so they said they could not, nor did they offer any other options. Fortunately, my adult son switched the sim card from my old phone into the new one and i was able to receive the code on my new phone and complete the process. Without him I would still not have a functional phone. Charging cable: phone did not come with a functional charging cable and to use the one that was sent would have required another purchase. I ended up using the cable from my Fire tablet, which sufficed. Performance: as always there is a learning curve with new technology but so far i am feeling my way along with this phone. Don't expect to receive a user manual because one does not come with this phone. Downloaded one from the internet but it is poorly written and not user friendly. You Tube videos are available for some issues, however. So far the phone seems to be working ok. Lost data: i am still trying to figure out if I can retrieve my contacts, photos, etc from my old phone to transfer to new phone. I probably won't even bother to do this thru tracfone because I'm sure it would only frustrate me and make me want to kill myself. I will explore other avenues. Summary: inexpensive phone with some good attributes. B+ for the phone: D- for tracfone.

Back in 2019, I purchased a ZTE Blade T2 Lite that was underneath Tracfone's listing at a local store, and sadly with it being a super budget phone, it gradually started to become extremely slow and unusable (plus with the whole situation with Tracfone cutting ties to ZTE due to their affiliation), I knew it was going to eventually need a replacement. Fast forward to 6/16/23 and that exactly happened. This Samsung Galaxy A03S is really fast with its speed and has a battery that far surpassed the other phone by a long shot, all I had to do was buy a protective case and all was set. Transferring accounts to the new one was also very fast, so I do have to give it to Tracfone for making that part easier than it should be. Definitely recommend this phone for those who are looking for a decent one, not to mention a decent price all things considered!

I've never had a phone so slow in all my life. It literally takes over3 MINUTES to get the phone to get up to speed; otherwise your bombarded with "Wait/Close App" prompts. THE CAMERA APP IS EXTREMELY SLOW TOO SO if you're looking to get that one-in-a-million photo, this camera will take about 60 seconds before you can use it. Other apps? SLOW SLOW SLOW. AND IT ONLY GETS WORSE OVER TIME. I've had it now for over a YEAR and it gotten even worse! It take pretty good photos. AVOID THIS SLOW POS

I have bought two of these within three years. One for myself and one for my partner when they needed a new phone. All together good phones.

This phone works well enough, to do what what it's supposed to do. It's really slow, though. 2gb of ram, is not enough, for what we use our phones for, today. The storage space is really small. 20, of the 32gb, are already used, before you install any of your own apps. So, if you want extra space, it's very important, to get an SD card, for it. The battery life is pretty solid. I got a day, & a half, out of it with regular use. The camera quality is pretty low rate. It makes sense, though, due to the price. The finger print reader is hit or miss. It took me multiple times, to open my phone, a decent amount of time. For it's price, you can do worse, imo. It has enough going for it: It works, well (didn't glitch out, or randomly restart on me). Making phone calls was fine, texting was fine, & the mobile data was fine, too. If you need a snappy (quick responding) phone, this isn't the one for you. If you just need something for your children, or just a burner phone, that's not too important, this will be fine.
