Honest review: great shorts
Honest review of the shorts, great in total for price and quality. One thing that bugs me is that many women buy cheaper shoets and expect some sort of miracle from them for 15$ but unless your going to spend the money for something really good for what you need and not short cut/cheapskate it, your gonna get what you paid for.I bought these shorts for the intention of working out in since I am fairly fit and like the high rise since allows me to wear a sports bra and these without showing the world everything I've got. The fit is great for someone that is 5'6" 125lbs and is moderately long in the torso, they are soft and comfortable and very thick, good quality material. They have a moderate to snug hold but nothing that's like a vice grip or spanx. The 3 pairs I bought (black/green/red) are all squat proof which for me is essential since I'm a bodybuilder competitor however they do wick away sweat but they will still show a bit of sweat in the fabric depending on the color you get. I have the shorter version so I know they will roll a bit in the leg during lunges and deep squats but again you have to understand what you are buying vs what you expect, so I think they stay pretty well in place for the most part. The shorts in total are great for leisure as well since they work well under dresses and skirts but again, they arent spanx so dont expect miracles from 15$ shorts. I am going to buy another pair in other color so I have a variety to choose from for my workouts but they are pretty amazing for the price you get. Plus if you've got a big booty they are perfect fit/size since they're stretchy in all the right places to not make you feel like you've got pancake butt.

Perfect Support for the Mummy Tummy!
I really love these shorts! I ordered them thinking I would wear them to exercise, but they aren't so cute for that intention (for me) and they do not come down far enough to avoid rolling up (I ordered the shorter option). However, they are really great under dresses! As a new mom, I really appreciate the tummy support. It sucks you in, smooths you out and leaves me feeling much less body conscious throughout the day. Do note that the shorter version doesn't come far enough down the leg to help with thigh-rub/chaffing (learned the hard way - I'm planning to order the longer version next!). The top of the shorts comes up high enough that I do not experience any rolling down - it sits just below my bra line. However, the legs do roll up. I think this can be avoided with the longer version of the shorts (or if you have skinny thighs maybe that wouldn't be such an issue :)). Overall, I'm really impressed with these shorts. They were a great purchase. I plan to buy a pair of the longer version next. I do wish these came in a nude option for wearing under lighter colored dresses.

Good but NOT Great.
First things first, I’m petite— 5’2, 115 lbs and I purchased these with the hopes of having solid undergarment-wear with no-show quality for my thinner dresses, solidly preferred during the unrelenting Texas heat...While these are soft and while the quality seemed nice enough, ultimately, the material doesn’t allow for real “undergarment” wear. They’re way too thick and so much shorter than you’d imagine, inevitably causing them to bunch up and roll over. That said, if you plan to wear these while seated or mostly immobile (or if you’re one of those co-eds on the prowl at the gym) then go for it... but if you plan to actually move in these, like an actual human or for more than one-minute-intervals, then maybe not so much.

Skip these and move on -
These are not tummy control shorts! As to 4 way stretch, That must be a subjective term for a description dependent on the manufacturers. Usually, a 4 way stretch type material does not crawl up your leg, and after a few minutes of wearing these, they started to crawl. I also heard several seams pop when I put them on for the first time, so we’ll see how long they last. (And, yes I did buy the correct size!). They are not see through and are okay, for just a plain old regular pair of short. I will keep them, but will only wear them for gardening or yard work. I would not buy these again.

Great postpartum recovery shorts
I bought 2 pairs of these for postpartum pelvic floor and lower belly support. Normally am size XS/S (pre-preg 128lb). I could comfortably wear the mediums at 2 week pp and 150lb without any thigh or muffin bulges. Then bought the size small to wear underneath the medium for added compression and support. Great value for the price.

Great compression but thigh cut outs for legs are a but restrictive
So I love the Homma leggings and thought I would try the shorts out for summer. I purchased a S in both legging and shorts. The tummy compression is the same as the leggings, however, I do wish the opening to the shorts for the legs were less restrictive. They too have compression, which is great but the seam at the bottom of the thigh kind of digs into your thighs. If you have amazingly worked out muscular legs, this will be fine but for those of us with a little meat on the thigh, this could be a problem. They’re still great and I still wear them but they look much better after wearing them a couple days to break them in.

Great liners for short shorts
I bought these to wear under shorts that don't have liners ... It seems the selection of shorts with liners is limited and the ones that are lined are pricey. I bought 3 different colors AND love them. The fit is accurate. The fabric is durable and comfortable. The price is right. Quite frankly, I don't recall the tummy control being emphasized in the ad .... it's a nice touch...all I want is to be able to bend over in the gym without revealing too much.

All around great shorts!
I have the legging version of these and when I saw they had shorts I immediately grabbed them. They r just as good. Only thing is they roll up a bit in the front when working out, kind of a pain to keep pulling them down after each set, but not a deal breaker. Squat proof for sure(I got the black shorter ones). Great for lounging too. Compression top isn’t as intense as the leggings(those are tiiiight) but still hold everything in. Totally recommend!
