Fant Seasoning Mix for Minced Meat Sticks, Cevapcice, 1.4oz

I was introduced to this product in 2003 when I visited Croatia. I fell in love with it while there and purchased Fant seasoning to bring home with me. I loved it so much I just had to find a place selling it here in the States and voila...Amazon had it. In spite of the high shipping cost for these light weight packets, I ordered them. I am not sorry either. If you haven't tried them..buy it. Soak chopped garlic in 8 oz. of water for a few hours, add only the water to the chopped meat, add the seasoning mix and allow the mixture to meld for several hours, if time permits. Shape the meat into sticks or patties, fry and serve with pepper spread and chopped onions. I also serve a chibatta roll with the meal...yummy and this is the way the woman from Croatia taught me to do it. Yummy, yummy.

Originally bought these spices when visiting Montenegro and Croatia. When our supply ran out we emailed the company asking if we could get them in the States. To our surprise they said we could get them thru Amazon. We now have unending supply and our burgers taste just like they did when we wre on vacation. A truly unique taste!

My wife and I are big fans of making cevap. Since we are too busy to make it from scratch this is a very, very close substitute. The packages were delivered quickly and we will definitely buy from this seller again.

Just need to either learn Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian, or peel the price sticker off the English-language directions sticker. I thought the mix could have been a little livelier, so I added some cayenne and that made the difference.

Only one packet of spice for one lb of meat for $8 is a total ripoff. Would never buy this off Amazon again.

Does anyone know what ingredients this is made with? I loved it as I had got some from the Balkans and can't seem to find any in the states. Thanks for having this amazon.
