You can't beat the braided line for a thinner profile, greater strength, good casting, and better feel. I've used 20# braided for years. I was thankful to find this in a great, multi-reel-filling length and a very competitive price. I have marked it in my Amazon wish list to remember to reorder it. It produces great hook sets and reliable landings of bass for me.

KastKing keeps improving their brand! This line is good stuff. No memory, smooth casting, and strong AF. If you fish braid, give this a shot. I like it almost as much as X9.

I purchased the 15lb hi vis yellow line and was happy with the strength and color.Line was slightly thicker than advertised at about 0.22-0.24 mm, measured with digital caliper with line pulled taut.Had a few issues with random tangles forming midline, but that could just be up to user error.

I have used a lot of different braided lines and this one is a improvement to me. This braid is working perfectly for me . No line twist,my knots work well with it. (Palomar and uni,and uni to uni. It is also quiet under load.

I've switched out all my freshwater setups to braid with a flouro leader. Best thing I could've done. No memory so tangles don't happen and super smooth casting. Kastking braid line is a great value and works very well!

I absolutely hate waxy line, it drives me nuts having to break it in. The wax gets on your hands and guides, it stains stuff like your clothes, and it ruins casting distance until you wear it off while fishing. This stuff comes pretty much wax free. I used to use kast kings super power braid a lot, even for bfs applications, but it’s ridiculously waxy, so I think I’m going to switch over to this line for my spinning and bfs setups for now on. It’s a lot more abrasion and fray resistant than I thought it would be, but I decided to give it a try and it worked great pitching around rock and wood in a shallow small mouth river close by. Absolutely no issues horsing in 2-3 lb smallies out of flat and erosion carved rock. They really love to dive into those water carved channels on old rock bottom rivers. This line along with an 8lb fluoro leader and a micro texas rig got it done ez-pz. One major issue with thin/micro/finesse line is that it does not do well in cover, and it does not hold a leader knot well, especially with a slightly larger diameter leader; This stuff does. I have a ton of confidence that my leader is not going to slip when I set the hook with this line. Will buy more when I need it.

I was very pleased with the quality of the KastKing Destron Complete 8X braid and fluorocarbon leader combined in one integrated package. The 30# braided line is very strong with no stretch for strong hooksets and has a great feel when casting. The spool of braid also includes an integrated spool of fluorocarbon leader so you have everything you need to spool your reel with braid and finish the setup with the included leader. The Kastking Destron Complete braid and leader combo is a great value.

I recently used Kastking Destron braided line on an inshore excursion in the marshes of Dularge, Louisiana. The quarry I was seeking were Bull Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Sea Trout and Gaftop Sailcats. I was using 20lb test Destron in the Gray color. I like a challenge so I always fish with lighter tackle; in this case I was using a Kastking Kapstan Elite Spinning Reel 3000, with a Kastking Estuary/Inshore 7’ MHF rod. The Destron line casted smooth with zero issues with wind knots. After 8 hours on the water, there was little if any line fade and I noticed no issues with abrasion even though we were around several Oyster reefs. Perhaps the only knock on the line is that it frays a little more than most when cut. Minor issue in my opinion... The line proved itself to me when I hooked into what turned out to be a 39.5 inch, 28.5lb Bull Redfish. Granted, I had my drag set at about 4.5 pounds, and the fight lasted, according to my guide: 30 minutes and 27 seconds. In addition to the Bull Redfish, I caught 7 Black Drum weighing anywhere from 16 to 21 pounds, 2 Sailcats that weighed 6 and 8 pounds each, and a Stingray that weighed approximately 12 pounds. My guide is a cut and dried Power Pro fan; however, after seeing the Destron's performance, and the obvious price advantage, he said he would be buying a few spools and trying them on a trial basis going forward. I usually use KastPro, but given the Destron’s performance and lower price tag, I’ll be using Destron going forward. Great Braid, great price, and great performance = Win, Win, Win!
