Perfect fit, great look, better sound.
All the parts in the kit are quality parts. Everything is machines correctly, rounded, polished and welded correctly. It will truly give you years of trouble free service. The Black tips make this setup stand out, and look amazing. They are coated very thick, and will not chip easily or discolor. All the parts are covered in a light protective oil that burns off and will smoke for 5 minutes or so after you first start it. Not a bad smoke, but you will definitely know it is there. If you are like me, you will freak out a second thinking you have a exhaust leak. I wore gloves, but i doubt the oil will harm your hands if you do not wear gloves. The install was straight forward, and the instructions were simple to follow. I have a 2018 F10 2.7l Super Crew cab with the shot bed. 4X4 sport model with added air bag suspension. I only had 10k miles on my truck, so the factory exhaust came off easy with a cordless hammer drill and some BP Blaster. If you have 40k or more, you might have to get out your curse word jar and just dump $50 at the start of the project. The exhaust fit perfectly on my truck. I did not have drop the spare tire or re-route any lines, hoses or wires to avoid them melting. The kit does come with a piece of heat protective 'wrap' for a brake line that runs close to the driver side exhaust pipe, however I preferred to buy some heat wrap tape and use that instead. I am sure what Borla provided works, but it looked to loose and easily removed. (Imagine a paper towel roll, but instead of cardboard it was 3 layers of reinforced aluminum foil and only had a small sliver of adhesive). It was just way to large in my opinion. That is the only part of the kit i did not have full confidence in. I surmise that it would have fallen off after a few romps in the snow and mud so i bought 15$ heat tape and was done with it.The install was super way, i can not state that enough. The pipes fit perfect, and the clamps where very well made. The bends are smooth and There is one part of the installation, on the rear suspension shackle, you need a breaker bar to loosen the nut and bolt to install the hanger assembly for the tip mounts. That was the hardest part because of how tight those bolts are, and the limited space in my garage. So it is not even a product issue, just a noteworthy thing for you to know when you install it. When all done and both sides were adjusted an equal, it really made the truck look awesome. Those tips are quality and it made the rear end look complete. The sound is pretty cool considering I have a 2.7l Ecoboost. I can hear the turbos better now through the exhaust when they blow off. That is a nice unexpected sounds as I only thought about the engine noise, not the awesome twins. It rumbles when idling in the morning so I always know when the remote start works. It is loud enough to hear in the house now, and my dogs do know when I am a block away. So if you are going for a louder sound this will get you there. HOWEVER it is not a V8 so even with the 'megaphone' exhaust it will never sound as cool as a 67 GT, but it will sound 40 times better than any stock Ecoboost.Last note is performance. I saw no gains in MPG and no losses on daily driving. HOWEVER my towing MPG went to 15 from 14 and my engine temps went down by a average of 20. That is a HUGE gain with a small engine in the mountains towing 6500lbs of travel trailer. More power at mid RPM ranges because of the increased airflow means more efficient and a happier tow vehicle. So there is something to be said about performance gains. Borla provides no performance data specific to my vehicle so I was not expecting any gains at all, just a awesome sound and better look.

Amazing sound. Let that Coyote howl!
The media could not be loaded. I love the Borla ATAK! Install was straightforward. Getting the old muffler off was a little tricky, but I just put my jack under the trailer hitch and jacked it up as high as I could before the tires lifted off the ground (make sure you chock the front tires first!) and I was able to snake it up and over the rear axle without cutting it.There is no muffler on the new system. It is a resonator, which you can see is straight through. That goes in place of the nearly identical looking stock resonator. It's 3" pipe out of the resonator to a Y pipe, to two 2.25" tailpipes that go straight out the back to 4" black tips.Another tricky part of the install is installing the rear hangers. You have to loosen the spring shackle bolts to put the hangers on, so you'll need a couple of big wrenches to do that. The sound is amazing and it really let's that 5.0 sing. Cold starts are loud. It absolutely SCREAMS at WOT, but is surprisingly quiet when cruising. The video shows a cold start, idle down, then a couple good revs.If you are on the fence about this, I say get it! I've had it a little over a year and I don't regret it one bit.

It’s got the name Borla on it for a reason
Oh boy do I love this thing. These new trucks like my ‘17 F150 are so insulated that it’s not loud at all on the inside. Plus these trucks also idle and shift low. It doesn’t start getting loud until about 2k RPM, which she usually shifts at anyway. NO HIGHWAY DRONE AT ALL. None. That’s what you’re paying for. It’s a pretty penny but it’ll last forever and you won’t get drone. It pays to support a company that engineers quality products. It’s definitely pretty loud upon cold start in the mornings, especially when I leave at 5 AM. So if you care what your neighbors think, you should talk to them first or not get this model. Personally I don’t care what they think so they can deal with it because this exhaust is the sound of my people. The fun: get to about 4K and up RPMs and listen to her scream. If you have the Coyote, at least. If you have an EcoBoost, hit yourself on the forehead because you could’ve had a V8.

Great system, fit and finish is a less than stellar
The system installs easy. Sounds great. The two problems I have with it are:1. The exhaust tail pipes are not even.. The driver side sticks out about 3/4" more than the driver side.2. The tail pipe tips come pre welded on. The welds are bare and are likley the only place it will rust.Over all an ok system but for $1,200 (at time of purchase) I'd expect a better fit and finish

Best exhaust on the market. PERIOD!
This exhaust is hands-down the BEST sounding I've heard. There's no drone at all. As in, if I'm driving with cruise control set, I don't hear it AT ALL if my radio is on. BUT, as soon as I want to hear it, everyone does. If you want to annoy your neighbors, use sport mode or manual to keep it lower gears longer. If you're generous, just drive normal in your neighborhood. It's LOUD on cold starts and throttle, but still has incredible tones. Best decision I've made for my 5.0 yet!

I would not hesitate to buy!
I love the sound of this exhaust! It is loud when you want it to be but find it to be very acceptable when cruising at highway speeds. Stock Ford F-150 stereo and no problem hearing it when driving. Cold start is fun and I look forward to it! Maybe not my neighbors though LOL! I can’t comment on installation as I didn’t want to wait until I had time so took my truck to Meineke at was only $150.00 for install and they alleviated the problem of stock exhaust storage or disposal and the shipping materials. Well worth the money for me anyway.

Makes Driving My 2017 EcoBoost A Trillion Times More Enjoyable
Title says it all. I love the sound. Feels like the truck can breathe better even though the stock exhaust was already very high quality. The grey tips match my paint which is a big plus as well. Installation was easy. Highly recommended.

Excellent but expensive
Superb fit and ease of installation, welds are quality and all hardware is very good. Just don’t understand why it costs so much money for a straight through muffler and some pipe. But the sound is amazing.
