Hippo Tails sold this. I've been told they are a legit online seller of Jellycats by Jellycat when I emailed them. His eyes are glassy black, his nose is velvety, & his fur is super soft. I love Jellycats! Idk why but I do. He sits beside Smudge on my dresser & I recommend him. They always come packaged in a clear bag. It always takes a few weeks before I receive a Jellycat when I order it online. It doesn't come in a couple of days. It normally take a couple of weeks. So far, I recommend Hippo Tails as a seller. I've bought a couple of them & they are legit as far as I'm concerned. I would also think if they weren't then Jellycat would tell you they aren't a legit seller.

Jellycat is hands down the best stuffed animal on the market. No only are they high quality the hold up and are super cute. This is my go to brand anytime a friend announces a pregnacy or we have a birthday party to attend. I think everyone (baby, toddler, adult, grandma) deserves a Jellycat !!!

Love the quality. It’s more elongated, not big and puffy, which is good cause it’s easy for my kid to grab and go. I will say I feel it is a little costly compared to other stuffed animals.

This lion is adorable, super soft and cuddly. My grandson is in love with it. Unfortunately, my grandson was injured by his sweet lion friend recently and Jellycat has shown very little concern about what happened.My grandson is two. He was napping with lion and began to cry and scream. When mama rushed to his crib she found that lion's mane had wrapped around creating a tourniquet on my grandson's thumb which had cut off circulation to it, making his thumb turn blue and creating a deep indentation in his sweet little thumb. There was much panic, more tears and screams before finally freeing the thumb from the furry mane. This was painful for my grandson and terrifying for my daughter in law. Please be aware of this potential hazard!
