Hentex BBQ Grill Covers 48 inch Heavy Duty Waterproof

We needed a replacement for the cover on our Aussie Monaro grill after a hailstorm destroyed one that's been on the grill since it was purchased quite a few years back.Aussie is no longer making the Monaro and the replacement parts they still sell are limited. So, no cover there to accommodate this size grill. The 48" wide grill cover seems to be a rare find, as I couldn't find one locally at either of the big box hardware stores, or at any of the discount chains. I decided to try Amazon before going to the wildly overpriced grill & fireplace specialty store. I'm very happy to have found this cover as it is a very high quality product. It is actually nicer & heavier than the one I had originally purchased from Aussie, and this one was less expensive! I am hopeful this one will last ever longer than that one did with its thicker construction and since the color will reflect more of the Texas sun than the previous one which was black. By the time this one is shot, I expect we will be to the point of needing a new grill anyway.

I actually bought it as a cover for my Lincoln ranger 8 welder. The fit was not too bad, a little loose, but I didn't want anything too tight like the factory Lincoln covers. Put a couple of rubber tarp straps over the top and one around the bottom of welder to hold it down, nice and secure. Sure beats paying $150 for a factory cover, hope it lasts a really long time.

This is a very good quality grill cover, and I love the color - a light gray. The only negative is that it could be a tad longer, since it leaves a bit of lower grill exposed. That said, I would highly recommend this cover ad the vendor.

Great grill cover and reasonably priced! Love there are clips to snap around the legs of the grill. My cover stayed on during extremely high wind storms. In the past the cover would’ve been gone with the wind! Easy to use, looks very expensive and is sturdy!

The Hentex 48-inch grill cover is exactly what we needed. It is attractive, highly water repellent, sturdy and lightweight. Best of all, it is the best fit I could find for our Broilmaster grill without having to pay more than twice as much for a cover designed for the grill. Terrific choice. So glad Amazon carried it.

I've only had this for a little while but it's holding up well so far. The only negative is it's a bit short and doesn't cover the grill down to the base so some of the grill is exposed. If it was a few inches longer it would be great. We'll see if it can hold up to the sun and weather here in Iowa or not. I typically only get around 18 months before past grill covers have torn. I hope this one lasts longer.

The cover did not fit my 48" grill. There is a missing dimension that is not reported and apparently varies by grill. The height from the top of the cover to where it is the widest is 11". My grill has a dimension of 13" so it sits too high on the grill. Width, overall height and depth are as stated but that is not enough to determine if it will fit your grill.

The last Hentex we had wore out due to UV but was great (we live in the South). This one also fits perfectly - i.e. is the size what it says it is. Has also been improved with gusseting and more durable fabric - but not too bulky. Easy on and off. Great product at great price.
