Woods WiOn 50063 Smart Plug-In Indoor and Outdoor Wi-Fi Switch and Yard Stake Bundle, 1 Grounded Outlet and 3 Grounded Outlets

Both outlets work great once set up. I know others have commented on the lifespan of the outdoor power strip, but so far I've had no problems. If things change, I'll provide an update.The only problem I've run into so far was setting the outlets with my network. I had no problem finding and connecting to the outlets with my phone, but the app was not able to find my wifi router. I removed the app and reinstalled 2 dozen times at least, I tried the wall outlet, thinking maybe the outdoor strip was defective. Ran into the same problems there.I was about to give up and start a return process when I figured I'd try an older Android phone I had. I was able to set up both outlets with no problems, and I was able to control them with the app on my current phone. My guess is there is possible problems with the app for setting up on more up to date Android and IOS devices.As an aside... I don't know why Amazon is asking me to mention "sheerness" and "thickness" in my review of this product.

We’ve been using WiOn timers for several years now and really like their usability and reliability, both indoors and outdoors.This particular package came with one indoor timer for one plug-in and one outdoor timer with a nice long cord, three weather-protected outlets, a stake to secure it to the ground, and a surprise D-handle to put it on a hook, which we don’t have now, but I can see one soon to keep the cord connections off the ground in our snowy climate this winter and higher than the reach of our sprinkler in summer.Whew. Long sentence. I hope it was clear.Although any unused outlets in the exterior timers have spring-loaded covers, the ones in use are exposed to the elements. Make sure your plugs are always pushed all the way in.Once you’ve installed the WiOn app, you can name each timer and set its schedule. To set the schedule, open the app, highlight the name of the timer you want by scrolling it to the left to turn its icon green. Then you can edit each unit’s name and schedule. Hint: if you have more than one WiOn timer, set one up at a time—plug in one time, connect it to the app, name it and set it up. Then go on to your next timer.) There are additional options in the app, some of which I haven’t used yet (last photo). We have several timers, so it took us a few minutes to figure out how to edit a unit in the app: on the Home Screen, move the list clockwise and back to highlight the unit to edit. The name will be green when you can edit (next to last photo shows a highlighted name in the Home Screen).The app is user-friendly and pretty intuitive except for the name-highlighting part, so you do not have to be an IT guru to set it up and use it. Because it is WiFi enabled with a fully-functional phone app, you can enable and edit on your phone even when you are not home. This is handy when we are away to turn on our electric Heattrak sidewalk mats (great company, excellent customer service; not a paid endorsement, just a highly-satisfied customer) at home, which we only want heating when needed to melt snow.Another complicated grammatical construction. Homeschoolers: try to diagram it.How we currently use WiOn:* on-command to turn exterior heat mats on and off as needed* set schedule for Christmas lights* set schedule for pond pumps in garden water features during warmer weatherAnother use could include lamps, but we have a smart house system, so may not need them for that. Although, come to think of it, there are lamps in our lower level bedroom for the grandkids...Bottom Line— I highly recommend WiOn products. This dual-unit package in particular is a good value.

Happy with the purchase of two of these. Use for our outdoor Christmas lights, and does what it should. Took off 1 star due to app…it is pretty clunky and unintuitive.

I love these devices, they're very helpful. I use one outside to control exterior lights and the other one is for indoor use. Be aware that they must have constant communication with your Wi-Fi router to work properly. I recommend setting it up indoors close to the router and move away from it until just before you lose the signal.

2nd Update: Replacement has been working fine for 1 month. App still has a few bugs when adding 2nd device. I added a star to my review.Update: I had the stake set-up and went away for a week. When I came back it was no longer working at all, not even powering up. It had never been used, nothing had ever been plugged into the outlet. It did rain, but it is an outdoor outlet. I have sent it back for a replacement and will update this review depending on how the replacement does. I downgraded this to one star for the time being.This is a two set WiFi combo - outlet and an outdoor stake. The stake connected and worked flawlessly. However, Wion app seemed to struggle when I was adding a second device (the outlet) and got to the step "your smartphone is connecting to the router...". Never connected.Product support was from Amazon and was a joke, and worse than no help as it wasted my time.I then turned the phone on and off. The blinking blue light was now solid on the outlet. I opened the WiOn app and viola the second outlet was in the app and working fine. Again, there seems to be an issue in the App Software. I am using an iPhone 8 Plus

I bought two of these and using it for holiday lights. You can use their app and/or connect it to your Alexa for power on/off and have a timer functionality. Good product!

Started to get frustrating to have to plug thing in and out everyday so my neighbor told me about this Wion.Bought the steak 3 plug for outside that came with 1 plug for inside wit h I used for the tree. Lights came on and off at the time I set up without a problem. At 1st had issues setting up but it was because of weak wifi signal so had to call cable company to come fix that. But after that issue was fixed, all ran smoothly. No matter how big or small your light set up is , I definitely recommend buying a wireless plug. Was inexpensive also..about $15 on Amazon.

All of my WION products works the way they are suppose to. At this time I have 4 yard stakes and 3, one outlet plugs. These devices are great for holiday lighting.

This product does not work well. I live in Canada. The app can only find our WIFI network when within 20 ft range and when it does find it, I am prompted to enter an area code, name and password. All information is correct, and it still does not connect GARBAGE NOW

I cannot even connect the three different models I purchased to my iPhone using the default Wi-Fi SSID. Set up is not working after three weeks’ trial.
