Happy Ferret!
We've been using this as our little guy's main kibble for years- healthy, happy & consistent stools. Only problem is when there was a shortage and we just switched to the duck formula temporarily, which made no difference to him.

This stuff is simply amazing
This is unbelievable. I adopted a kitten 4 months ago when he was 7 weeks old. The shelter sent me with medicine for what they told me was irritable bowel disease; they said he would have diarrhea the rest of his life. Long story short he has had watery poop and while pooping a bunch of farts. Horrible smell even 40 feet away. I tried all sorts of food hoping I could fix it, I nearly gave up because I tried purina pro plan kitten I tried iams kitten I tried nulo freestyle kitten I tried purina one plus I tried halo and wellness brands and nutro, then I said well I guess it’s true I ll have to use tons of litter and smell this poop for the rest of our life together. I decided to read up on foods the other night and came across this with absolutely no MEAL or other junk cars don’t need. No lie in 2 serving of this food I scooped out a solid piece of poo! It has been 2 days and I have gotten solid pieces every time! He also used to go poop 15-25 times a day depending on the day and in 2 days he has only pooped 6 times. I will be buying this the rest of our life together thank you to this company and also thank you to the lady who left a review that had a kitten just like mine

Cats Won't Tolerate Being Without It
I've been out of this food for 1.5 days and my cats are literally climbing the walls. Three out of 5 prefer it (the other 2 were previously feral and prefer the Instinct rabbit. I am snowed in and hoping to God the Amazon driver can deliver it. They love it. It does have a calming effect on them and I need to monitor my tubby boy because he ends up too calm, then doesn't run around enough. Plus I want him eating some canned food. They have been on it for a few years and are very healthy and happy. I believe it is calming because of the chicken fat and mostly the whey protein, which is found in some calming supplements. I do think Instinct is a good and trustworthy company, although kibble is not the best for their health. It's a little hard to wean them off of it when they like it this much. I buy the small bags, because the bottom of big kibble bags get stale. When it gets to the bottom of the bag I pour it into a pasta drainer to get the crumbs out, then back in the bag. Otherwise they won't eat it with the crumbs that make them cough. (That happens with any kibble.)

So far really great for ferrets!
This is my own personal opinion, I hope it may help anyone who’s looking for alternatives ferret food thats more healthier then the marketing recommended food at most pet stores.Comparing this food to what the original owners were feeding of the experience and small canned kitten food. It’s a big life changer!!! I’m really satisfied with my ferrets current health, energy, and fur coat! With this and a treats of dried whole mini fish that’s usually dog treats.Their coat alone went from wire, smelly, and irritated to a healthy lush coat that doesn’t irritate them. Their smell isn’t even noticeable anymore, I had folks come through and surprised, I definitely saw major improvement in their energy levels and immune system after under two weeks on the diet. The vet was even impressed! If I could I’d still lean to wysong of freeze dried raw meat but due to price wise, Instincts are my go to when it comes to ferret food for a source of high protein, and less unneeded fillers or by products that only rank up medical bills in the future. As an affordable food brand when I’m asked about their diet, plus of course perfect for felines and hadn’t had a problem after switching.

Been using this food for years now for my cats
I've been using this food for years now with my cats. They seem to love it and are healthy (for their ages). When I initially started feeding them, the first thing I noticed was that they don't go through as much as they had their previous food. This being much higher protein than what they had been eating, seems to fill them up with less food being required. I also had been feeding this to my ferrets (mixed with Wysong). I learned a lot about ferret diets (which are extremely similar to cats) and that led me to this for them as well as the cats. Glad I made the switch, but wish I had done it sooner. I am ordering some of their stuff stuff to add a bit more variety to my cats diets. I've been impressed with this specific product so far, but need to get some better quality moist food to hopefully assist my soon to be 17 year old guy in getting some more easily digestible and absorbable food.

Great product
Amazing food for both cats and ferrets ! Doesn't have all the bad stuff that they shouldn't have. This is a quality food and my ferrets have never looked or felt better !

High quality ingredients good for felines with sensitive GI system
This has one of the highest protein percentage in the market for dry kibble at over 40%. It contains quality ingredients (real meat and no byproducts) that is hard to find even in wet food. Highly recommended if you have cats that tend to puke often, but don’t wish to go the expensive raw food route. It is probably one of the most expensive products as far as dry food goes, but it’s well worth the long term health of my cats. My cats didn’t object to the taste even when I first introduced it and it doesn’t smell so pungent like some cheaper dry kibbles. I will not feed any other inferior product anymore to my cats.

Best phosphorus count
Our cats vet gave us a max. phosphorus count for food due to a suspected kidney condition. This is the only dry food that meets it. Our cat doesn't love the flavor but he eats a small amount at night. This is a pretty pricey food so that Works well both for balance (cats should eat mainly wet food) and budget. We really appreciate finding a dry food that support cats' health. If you are looking for a calorie boost for your cat who is eating a healthy wet food diet, this is is a good choice for a supplemental snack.
