Don't Waste Money On Other Brands, This is The One You Want
Silly me. I bought three other random branded grips because they were much more affordable. NONE of the others looked good. Every single one of those had the thumb rest in an unnatural spot (either too far in, or right above the Q button). The build quality of those others was nothing to write home about, and all of them required a screw mounting, which caused a week bit of damage to my show mount. Here's why Lensmate's grip is worth every single penny:THE FEELThe thumb position on the Lensmate grip is PERFECT. They nailed the thumb rest positioning, allowing for a comfortable and secure grip, and also for keeping my palm away from pressing the dial buttons unintentionally. And with the added rubber surface, this grip's positioning is like no other.THE FITYou can very obviously tell that this grip was machined to fit the X100F, from the color match, and down to the detail of how the back of the thumb area rests perfectly above the dial. This grip was crafted with care, and it matters because the experience is actually better.THE MATCHLike others have said, the color coating (I have silver) matches Fuji's exactly, so the grip looks like it's actually part of your camera, and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb [rest].THE MOUNTOther cheaper grips secure to the camera body with a like hex screw, which digs into the metal part of your show mount. What's great about Lensmate's grip is that it uses a rubber stopper, which keep the grip mounted well with pressure and friction, and won't cause any damage to the shoe mount. To summarize:Don't waste your money on other thumb rests. I spent nearly as much collecting bad ones before I got the one I should have all along. The Lensmate grip costs more, but it will make your shooting experience better, and is worth every penny. This is the one you want.

... made accessory that I have to say is a fantastic addition to my camera
This is a very well made accessory that I have to say is a fantastic addition to my camera. It feels solid and the the tactile feel makes the camera easier to use. The functionality is logical - it's easier to hold the camera, while the ability to fold the grip back so that you can access the top side scrolling switch is well done (although, I admit, I don't use that switch often). The grip does take the hot shoe away from the camera, but I don't think this is the type of camera that most people add a dedicated flash - at that point (because of the portability being removed), I advise getting a different camera.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase - the grip feels solid, I don't feel like I'm going to lose control of the body of the camera while holding it. I recommend it and am impressed.

Very nice but the silver color doesn't match the X100F
Great build quality and functionality but the color isn't the same as the silver X100F.

Another Ultra High-Quality Fuji Device from Lensmate
This thumb grip, which is specially made for the Fuji X100F, is made of the best quality materials, and you can feel it upon touching it for the first time. The item comes in a customized box, and the grip itself is made of anodized aluminum with an inset silicon "pad" underneath the mount so that it will not slip off the camera during use like cheaper models will. Also, the grip has a softened pad when the thumb rests to keep comfort at maximum levels and to boot, has a levered-style design that allows you to effortlessly fold it out (without removing it from the camera) so that you can more easily access the X100F scroll wheel underneath. You can purchase cheaper similar grips for 1/3 the price (and I have), and they feel cheap, irregularly manufactured, and are easily prone to falling out during use. I can't emphasize enough how much this piece (and particularly in conjunction with the soft button release https://www.amazon.com/Lensmate-Lizard-Soft-Release-Button/dp/B00GVMCR2A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519665675&sr=8-1&keywords=lensmate) change the entire dynamic of how the X100F feels when shooting. It makes you wonder why Fuji did not incorporate these pieces into the expensive X100F by default, but they did not, and for this extra amount you pay to get these two pieces, you have a revolutionized shooting experience. Five stars, and if I could give it six, I would.

Why so expensive!?
The media could not be loaded. Pros:- its ergonomic. helps your grip very well- I like that it has two levels of adjustment (one half way and all the way) and I use that feature a lot-Looks great on my X100F, really complements it (its like part of a camera)-Material quality is good (except for the part that touches the camera, see my comments below)Cons- Very expensive! why are we paying this much for something that could be half its price?- The part that touches the camera looks like it will wear out in time and may scratch the camera (I read somebody mentioned that their camera was scratched within months) so thats a liability.for these two cons I took out two stars even though the product helped my grip. sorry, they are important cons for me.

One of the great accessories for the Fuji X100f
Helps to steady and hold the camera. Like the fact that it's hinged and allows you to access the thumb wheel that would otherwise be covered up. I consider it a must have. Overall great product, excellent construction and good value.

MOST USELESS ACCESSORY EVER!!!
Honestly a horrible product. After it coming loose almost every time I placed my thumb on it, my freakin expensive thumb grip finally wiggles off and is now forever lost. $60 down the drain. Trust me, save your money and go without a thumb grip that was most likely manufactured in a sweat shop.

Not secure.
It’s expensive. Works wonderfully. But it fell off and I lost it in just two months.
