BAD peony roots. one good eye. Will never buy from them again. Save your $
Apalling condition and doubt they will grow. Wish I hadn't potted so I could return. Waste of money.

Healthy root that sprouted in just 5 weeks!
This root came with 7 “eyes”. The largest one ended up breaking off during planting (my own fault) but it was ok. In just 5 weeks later another “eye” broke through the soil and is growing perfectly, which is amazing considering that it’s not the recommended planting season for peonies. Be sure to plant your root at the right depth. I can’t wait to see these with flowers next season!

As advertised. Its bare root has 3-5 eyes, looks alive. I have planted it, very shallow. I'm looking for fragrant plants. I have not found this potted up and growing or I would have bought it.Update planted as instructions at the top of the dirt, live looking areas above soil level, between my house and garage in a bright shaded area receives an hour of morning sun, nothing. No growth at all disappointed but watering and waiting (praying too)

Like other reviews, mine showed up dry and falling apart. What I'm left with is a piece of what appears to be a part of a stick. No roots of any kind just a 3-4 inch piece of dried wood.

My Duchess De Nemours peony shows a lower than expected sign of life.
I purchased one Duchess De Nemours peony in Sept.ember and other in November. I planted each immediately upon receipt. Now, in late March ,the November-planted one is beginning to emerge. The September -planted one is still "dead as a doornail," but I have not given up hope of it waking up and showing some sign of life.

This peonies don’t sprout. Waste of money
I planted these peonies as soon as I got them and never see signs of sprouting. 2 times I exprese myself obout the situation but never received an answer from the company.
