These are VERY bright which is great but personally they’re a bit too bright for me. Installing is easy but these don’t “clip” into the housing as the original OE does but these slide in easily and stay put.Do recommend if you want something super bright at the back of your car

No doubt it is a good deal but it is definitely a perfect fit which requires push and twist quite a bit in order to get it in.

Bought and installed this product in Oct 2019 for my 2008 BMW 535i (LCI). Install was super, super easy (plenty of vids out there). The lights are BRIGHT. Great way to sharpen the look of your car if it's older, and these lights add a lot of visibility to your car when driving at night: great for safety.It’s been 2 years now (yes, I came back to update my review - 9/28/21) and these things are still holding up like new. Through the rain, hot summers, etc. and outdoor parking in all parts of California. If build quality and QC is consistent between each unit, these will last you. A bargain product, for the price

This is light it very bright, easy to install but one of them blew as soon as I turned on my park light.

These are incredibly bright and a simple, drop-in replacement for the stock lights in my 2009 e70 X5. So bright they actually cause a little glare in the backup camera, so I had to attach a small piece of plastic to shade it. Once I did that it made the backup camera even more effective at night.

I liked how bright they were, but did not like that one went bad about 3 months after installing.

It looks like I have the backup lights on. Can't beat it for the price. The only thing I would change is that the angle of the light doesn't quite align with the plate so it casts a small shadow on top if you have a license plate frame. Not enough to take a star though.

it really makes my butt look big (I mean, the rear end of BMW).....it modernized how my 16 year old BMW e39 looks from the back

2007 BMW 323i SedanThe light these give off is great. They are easy to install but they BARELY fit. Wouldn’t be surprised if they fall out of place while I’m driving. Slammed the trunk closed a couple times and they both just fell out of the socket and hung there by the wiring.You really have to jam them in before they stay out at all. Besides the fitment issue they are as advertised.

Disappointing.. I drive an e60.It didn’t even fit properly. It was a bit small. Not a flush fit and didnt come with anything else to keep it in. It will fall out when closing trunk exposing wiring. Even worse u can get water in there if u managed to get it to stay in and it happened to rain or car wash.I sent a message out and i haven’t gotten a reply.Now I’m left with an open space there, and won’t be able to drive in the evening and have to tape it up until my order from a real place comes in. It was an unnecessary hassle.It only gets 2 stars because it came quick and because I did get lights. Unfortunately it don’t fit accurately as advertised.

I can confirm these lights do not cause a CANBUS error in a BMW X5 E70. They were easy to install.

Great price and product, but will not fit my 2006 E90 without modifications. Will have to use double sided tape or something similar to keep it in place, as the OEM part has a plastic port to hold the fixture up. Maybe be different for other models.

Product went in easily and worked perfect so far. Flashed a few times when first connected and then was fine after.
