Works perfectly if you use it correctly
I have used this twice now, both with great results.The first time I buffed the mold with paper towel, they came out but took some hitting the mold on the side, the second time I used a cotton ball dipped in vodka (you can use alcohol or ethanol or lemon extract), went back over with a dry cotton ball to make sure the mold was dry and they fell out at the end when I tipped the mold upside down.The key is make sure the mold is clean and dry and polished and not too hot or too cold, temper the chocolate properly, leave in the fridge to set once finished (min 15 mins, longer is good) and these will fall out of the mold (the ultimate goal).Other steps are needed in the chocolate making process but these are key to using the molds.When you read bad reviews about chocolate not coming out of molds, it is often that the mold hasn't been buffed, mold was too cold or chocolate wasn't tempered properly. This mold is a good quality one and works as it should, chocolate making is an art and involves following various steps but it is also really easy to do and easy to get great results, just don't skip the important steps.Also make sure any glitters or colourings are food safe and edible (ones from the USA should be FDA approved) not all edible glitter or food paints are actually edible, some are just for decoration.Edible glitter mixed with lemon extract or vodka make great decorations, I painted a line in the mold before adding the chocolate and the outcome was great, went a little heavy on the second batch but it's trial and error, I have also used coloured cocoa butter, the rose gold came out great but the silver wasn't. Don't be afraid to experiment, the possibilities are endless with this mold. If it doesn't turn out we'll, you can always eat the evidence :-)
