Great face shield for use during heavy trimming or brush cutting work!
I bought this to wear while removing high grass and brush with a trimmer fitted with a metal grass knife. I knew I would be kicking up other debris during this process, so I wanted extra facial protection, mainly against wood and rock pieces. I chose this shield over others because it had the extended sides, which seemed wise. My initial thought when trying it on was that the top and the shield sat further forward than I expected. I felt like it didn't wrap around the sides of my face as I had hoped, but the sides still seemed like they should block the sides of my face and stop flying debris. During use, the shield positioning was not a problem, and actually helped me fit a good sized half face respirator behind it. The adjustment knob was a little funny at first. I am used to a ratcheting style knob on a hard hat, and this was more of a push and turn, with push unlocking the dial. It held the adjustment fine and never loosened. I wore it over a baseball hat turned backwards. I wore this for around 8 hours one day, and it was comfortable the whole time. The built in sweat band was a nice help too. Having never worn a shield like this, I was worried the mesh would obstruct my vision or be annoying, but that was not the case at all. I would recommend this shield to anyone using in a similar scenario. Just a friendly reminder that this shield is not a substitute for safety glasses, it is a supplement. I chose to write this review due to the lack of reviews.

Very happy.
Bought it for my wife, she is the weed whacker of the family. We have a lot of property and she likes to keep it neat. When she is done, she pretty much looks like a tossed salad. She had been just weating sunglasses and I convinced her to wear ear protection but still wanted better protection for her. I asked if she wanted a plastic shield and she said no because they get scratched up and it gets pretty stickey with no air flow. We saw the screen and after looking at a couple picked this one. It looks pretty robust and it has small side shields to give the protected area a bit larger. The mesh is decently fine and strong and she puts on newly bought safety glasses, just because. We also both bought a new set of hearing protection to round out the purchase. She says it works very well, if she likes it I am happy.

Protects face well
Tired of getting smacked in the face with debris when using your weed eater? I was. The front screen protects my face but still lets air come through. Easy to wear, tighten and it was comfortable enough to wear with my ear muffs over the headgear.Very small bits were still able to make it through so I’ll probably still wear sunglasses but no more cursing when a wood chip or pebble hits me in the lip or nose.

Top quality safety mask for use with trimmer
This mask is as good as the Stihl mask, but less expensive. It is adjustable and tightens easily. Of course it does not come with ear covers, but I use it with my Makita battery trimmer which is not loud. Also, it does not cover the top of your head, so wear a hat for sun protection. Good as it is, it is stll ESSENTIAL to wear safety glasses under the mask.

Comfortable, easy to set up, great ventilation
Setting this up out of the box was pretty straight forward, and the fit is easy to adjust with the single knob at the back. Its lightweight and comfortable to wear, and it doesn't obstruct my field of view. I use this for protection when I'm trimming weeds and grasses with a string trimmer. It does a very good job, although it doesn't completely shield the sides of my face. I'm happy with the level of protection, and the air circulation it affords.

Quality Product, Competitive Pricing
Great price and product! I did not want to pay the premium price St*hl charges. It adjusts easily, both my husband and I use it…he has a big head…lol…. The screen is sturdy and had stopped flying objects when I am weed whacking.Purchase, you won’t be disappointed.

Good protection
This is a good product. Use it for weed trimming every day use. Helps protect alot of facial and some neck area from being hit by rocks, sticks, and other small objects that fly up when weed trimming. Before I was hit alot, had bruises, busted nose, scratches, and more from trimming. Bought one before with the plexiglass, it scratches very easily and fogs up. Then can not see out of it any more. This has the plastic mesh and is awesome.no scratching, no fogging, and the band on it has cloth over it to help with sweat. The only only thing I would change is making the cloth a bit thicker for more comfort. I would and will recommend this protector. It really helps protect your face and some neck area.

Solid product
Nice headgear. Easy to assemble. More comfortable than my husqvarna forestry helmet. Only complaint is that the shield hinge is very stiff. I need to use two hands to lift it (one to hold it on my head while lifting). Would be nice if a clear plastic shield was included but it can be purchased separately.
