latch is unreliable!
I loved the look of this leash because it matched my pups collar, but I couldn't figure out how we could be walking fine (no pulling, she's a good walker) and then all of a sudden I'm walking a leash while my dog's looking at me like "what the heck mom?" Thank goodness she's not one to just run off but I had no peace of mind when walking her thinking it would just unlatch at anytime. Then, one day i took her collar off and put the leash the the clip to try and figure out what was going on. It turns out, if the loop on the collar turns a certain angle, the loop catches on the numb that your thumb pulls down. And poof! leash is off with no pulling or effort on mine or my dogs part. It unlatches scarily easy. Buying a new leash now with a different kind of latch that's hopefully more reliable.

Love this leash
Love this leash! My puppy completely chewed thru her last leash in just a couple of months and I needed something that would last. This is really light weigh and I love the color. Seems pretty tough and I plan to buy more!

Good leash for biters/chewers/heavy pullers
This leash is great for puppies/dogs that like to chew or pull. Paired with a harness, this makes walkies less stressful! The best part is the black rubber part just above the metal clasp because that's the spot that my puppy likes to bite. The rubber part is tough and as of 2 weeks still has no signs of wear after continual chewing. The nylon rope part is extremely tough and has also lived through 2 weeks of chewing by sharp puppy teeth with no signs of fraying!

latch is not metal, will snap with enough pressure.
Be careful that your dog doesn't snap free of the leash like mine did while trying to get at another off leash dog. Very scary situation to be in. I'll be spending more on quality leashes going forward. Lucky we got out of that situation with no blood drawn.

This leash is not good for small dogs
This leash is not good for small dogs. I like the length but the clasp and the leash itself are just too heavy for a small dog. I bought this for my Chihuahua to take on a beach vacation and decided to buy a lighter leash there since this was so heavy. It would be great for a med/large to large dog but I would hesitate to use it even for a smaller medium size dog.

and perfect for a young pup
Bought this for my 8 week old doodle puppy. Very cute and well made, and perfect for a young pup. As she has gotten bigger and stronger, we have upgraded to a Kong leash. This one is quite comfortable on the hand, though, and the way the clip toggles, it keeps the leash from getting too tangled. Very nice beginner leash.

Clasp opens easily and detached from harness
This leash is comfortable to hold but it doesn’t feel particularly sturdy. The clasp is a joke. It opens so easily and it is also absolutely massive. It feels cheap and the edge of the attachment ring on my dog’s harness opens up the clasp with hardly any pressure. Thank god I realized how awful the clasp was and added additional safety measures. However, the clasp is so huge that finding something to add for safety was extremely challenging, but it was clearly necessary. My dog was not pulling particularly hard for this clasp to just pop open. This leash will put your dog at risk, even if they aren’t pullers.
