Easy to use. Functions as advertised. Machine arrived with ASUS Model 24BST drives which can burn "M" archival discs. "M" disc capability was not in Amazon product description when ordered.Need arose when we discovered many VHS Tapes that had been created many years ago with a Hitachi Digital Camcorder vintage 1997. The Hitachi used mini 8mm VHS "C" tapes which were downloaded into a VHS recorder directly from the camera. When playing the VHS tapes in our 2010 Vintage Magnavox VHS/DVD player/recorder we discovered that the Magnavox machine could copy ("dubbing") VHS tapes to DVD RW's and the like.Found on Amazon DVD-Replicators which would enable us simultaneously to make multiple copies for family members. We have been doing this successfully since receiving the machine. Copystars Tech support from Raymond and Herman outstanding. Keep in mind when unpacking that this small machine weighs 16 pounds which is more than some shotputs.Clarification. An Olympic shot put weights 16 pounds. The Magnavox referred to above is Model ZV427MG9 A-Digital Video Disc Recorder & Video Cassette Recorder.

When my mom died last year I came into possession of a whole bunch of old 16mm tapes, all old family films. I had them converted to DVDs but needed to make multiple copies of them for many family members. I was able to do it in record time with this little gem. It was easy as pie to hook up. Just put the original in the top, the blanks in the 3 bottom trays and push a button. It automatically opens when the job is done. Best investment EVER if you have multiple DVDs to copy. If I had had multiple copies made from all the tapes I sent away to be converted it would have cost me a whole lot more than these that I made myself. I highly recommend it.

I haven't had it long, but it makes copies of CDs and DVDs fast and easy. It can do between 1 and 3 copies at a time and at various burn speeds. It auto-detects the discs and lets me know if I mix in a wrong format. The instructions were not all correct as there were multiple copies and some were for earlier models. Best of all it is stand alone and I can make copies while I use my PC to surf the net.

I was a little skeptical buying one of these, since I had never used one and the reviews seemed to be mixed.This machine so far has worked flawlessly. It boots up in about 30 seconds and burns exact copies of DVD's. No fuss, no mess, no pulling out of hair. This is much easier than using computer software to do the job and the reason I bought it is there is no need for a computer at all for direct burning. I am definitely saving a lot of time with this.

This is very easy to use. Turn on,insert master disc, insert 1-3 blank discs and push enter. A few minutes later the trays open and your finished. One glitch when the readout said not enough room on the discs. I changed to different discs and it worked perfectly. Three had discs are not unusual. Have used it 6 times and made 3 perfect copies each time. I have more than 30 vhs tapes to transfer to DVD and will update this review it I have any problems.

I got this for my wife's Christmas present because she always wants to send copies of our home movies, etc, to our kids, as well as making duplicate copies of our DVD/CD collections and using those instead of the originals. This Duplicator is fast and accurate. It has taken a load off of my shoulders because it is so easy to use, I no longer have to make multiple copies from my computer. I give her the master...and she can push one button and off she goes.

First off, the device works as far as duplication goes. Very easy. However, there's a major issue if you plan on doing duplications of an audio cd "project". Once your project is completed and mastered you can burn a cd from your DAW as usual. THAT cd has all the track titles, CD name with the name of the artist. I put my master in and the audio copied flawlessly BUT the text information will not copy on an audio cd. So I mistakenly burned 60 cd's before I noticed that it only listed Track 1, Track 2, etc. Thats on me! You would not know that until you get the manual which does not come with the unit and is difficult to obtain. So buyer beware if you intended on copying an audio cd project to distribute.

I have had this machine for about 3 years and have used it enough to say that it is as easy to use as they say and so far reliable. I have used it to make copies of home made DVDS and CD’s and as of yet never had a problem with the machine. I must add however that I usually do not make more than two copies at a time. Before I bought the machine I researched it carefully and as a older non- technical gentleman I was happy with the ease of use.It has really come in handy during the 2020 pandemic since I could send comforting and entertaining DVDs/C to friends and family.
