Not had a chance to play it yet as I'm currently on a different campaign. Just had to grab this & the rest of the trilogy due FFG & their history ref reprints. Just didn't fancy paying future Ebay prices, which is something I've done with older, already out of print campaigns. If you have the core set & you like it, expand your card pool & adventures.

Nice expansion to supplement the core set and grow your card pool (especially if you only have one copy of the old core set like me!). Included everything as described on the box; 201 new cards and 8 hero cards. A lot of Dúnedain and Noldor cards, enough to make 2 started decks of each, as suggested by the rulebook. The re-release looks sharp: new font, and a more coherent and helpful rulebook. Not the mention the stunning artwork on the cards themselves. I'm glad I didn't go too far in buying the original releases and am jumping on the re-releases at the right time. This is a great opportunity to get into the game for new players, and I look forward to the next release which I believe is the Fellowship of the Ring saga expansion!

I was really impressed with content and gave extras to friend that I played. Even desire another similar but different one because of this product. More should be made like this.

First of all, the Lord of the Rings LCG is fantastic, as is this expansion. Beware purchasing from this seller though, as the product I recieved (pictured left) was in a plastic bag as opposed to (pictured right) the proper cellophane wrapping. The cards are all there and like new, but 2 stars for reseller dishonesty.
