Great product
Love that it comes with a heat resistant glove so that you don't burn your hands. I'm not one that is the best with hair devices of any kind and I was able to use this on my own and have it come out really nice. Super easy to use and the curls hold well.

Does the Trick, Easy To Use, The Glove is a Nice Touch
This is a fairly standard curling wand and a good buy for the money. Not to be confused with the old trusty curling IRON, a curling wand is a single metal piece, in this case a "1/2-to-1" inch tapered metal wand. It gets very very hot, so use with caution. It gets four stars because of the heat—and not because the iron gets too hot, but because using such hot heat on the hair is simply not a good regular habit to get into. However, this iron did serve the purpose of what I had hoped to achieve, which wasn't exactly curls, but more that look of waves cascading over the shoulders. I understand they are known as "S waves" and "beach waves". Having grown up on the beach, I am a little mystified. Whatever happened to the beach BUN, the OG "do" when you go to the beach? Right? I am pretty sure everyone knows you need your hair OFF of the shoulders and out of the way, and, thus, twisted up on your head inthe OG "Beach Bun". I digress. For my hair, the not-beach wave/S wave has a place, or at least it does the trick if you happen to go through a periodic phase of wanting to look like a country singer, a soap star or your daughter. Whatever the case, we all know that curls and waves come from the same place as rainbows, kittens and ponies. They almost always look kind-of wonderful, and have even been known to make people smile. Just keep in mind that hair irons like this are harsh on the hair and it is important to use some kind of cream, mist or spray commonly known as "heat styling conditioners", "thermal protectors", "heat shields" and "blow out creams" that protect hair against heat treatments. Not certain if they are all that helpful against strong heat, but you are wise put something between your hair and the hot device, and you should! (Just do NOT use Dry Bar products. I will get to that another time! Do try the good ones out there like: Aveda, Olaplex, Moroccan Oil, Kerastase, Quai, Redkin, Oribe or Shu Uemera--anything but Dry Bar-- and look for those heat terms I gave earlier.) As for how hot the tool can get, the answer is "very" and, lo, it comes with a glove for the hand that will be coiling the hair stands around the device and holding the hair in place. And that, my friends, is a civilized touch. Last thing, before you use your hair iron, check out a few instructional videos for how to usse a wand to make the hair "wavey". Meanwhile, I'll try to think of better name for "kinky-fun-hair-wave-just-to-change-things-up-and-make-me-feel-happy".

Easy to use!
This curling wand was a first purchase for me. I have never tried one before. It’s easy to use and quick to heat up. It has excellent temperature control and can be adjusted to any temperature you’d like it to curl at. It’s easy to use and comes with a glove, but I haven’t needed to use the glove yet. I’m not in any where are you or danger of burning my hand. The only thing to be careful of is to make sure you put it down on a surface at safer heat. It does take a bit to cool down, so do not put it on anything that could possibly melt because it will.

Works great to make various size curls
Recommend wearing glove to protect from burning fingers but maybe that’s because I have arthritis. Works great to make all sizes of curls that hold. Gets very hot so recommend also protecting surface with heat pad ect. Otherwise great for the price and fun to use!

Finally have the curls I've been dreaming of!
I have thick coarse hair that frizzes with humidity. This iron was a game changer for me. Heats up quickly and creates curls better than wands with a clamp.I accidentally burned my hand - so use a glove because the iron is hot!10/10 worth the money.

Stayed hot about a month
One, if you have longer hair, it will get stuck around the plastic piece that keeps it from touching the counter. If you can overlook that fine, but now it is not getting hot like it was when I first got it. Return window closed so cannnot return it. Waste of money
