I absolutely love the Narrative Cosmetics Solid Makeup Brush Cleanser Soap with Silicone Cleaning Pad! It’s hands down the best cleaner I’ve used for my makeup brushes. It cleans them thoroughly without leaving any residue, and rinses clean so quickly. The light, pleasant scent is a nice touch — it’s subtle enough that by the time I go to use my brushes again, the smell is completely gone. The generous size of the cleanser is fantastic and will last me a long time, which makes it an even better value. The included silicone cleaning pad is a perfect addition, making the cleaning process so much easier and more effective. I’m so happy with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gentle, efficient way to clean their makeup brushes!

This is the easiest makeup brush cleaner I’ve ever used. I’ve tried scrub pads in the sink with liquid soap, I’ve tried dish soap and scrubbing, I’ve tried the battery operated swirl tool that spins your makeup brush in a bowl of water. All of those are time consuming, messy, and ineffective in removing all makeup residue. THIS cleaner with the built in scrub pad inside the lid is the most effective makeup brush cleaner. It’s also compact, and a genius design. All you do is wet the brush, swirl it on the soap, and scrub it on the scrubby pad. Then rinse under the sink flow of water. My brushes were nasty, and caked with a year’s worth of makeup (yes, I know, it was bad). But about 30 seconds of swirling and scrubbing on this soap/pad combo, and BAM! Clean! It barely uses any soap, and left my brushes looking BRAND new. I wish I took a before photo to show you the drastic color difference. The soap is colorless, and leaves a faint mild scent that smells fresh. The value for the price is insanely good, because this is going to last a long time. I might finally be a girlie who cleans her makeup brushes after every use now! This is so simple, and I know my skin is going to thank me later!

The media could not be loaded. I have not used a brush cleaner before. I have just used an antibacterial hand soap. What I liked about this product was first, how the cleaner and scrubbing pad were all in the same container - no need to store separate products. The tin is small, so it will also store neatly in my makeup drawer without taking up much room.Second, it cleaned the brushes very well. I did need to repeat 2-4 times depending on how dirty the brushes were, but that is explained in the instructions too. I also like that the formula will not just clean, but condition the brush bristles as well.I would happily recommend this product for it's overall effectiveness and being inexpensive. 👍

I paid a little more than similar products because I wanted something that looks and preforms like it belongs in a grown woman's collection. The neutral tones give the packaging and product an elegant look.The fragrance is listed as vanilla. I was worried the scent might be too strong. It is unmistakably vanilla but not at all overbearing, even for my super sniffer.The silicone scrubbing pad is attached to the lid of the small round tin. It is removable, making cleaning easier. The soap bar, however, is removable and came wrapped in plastic. It was surprisingly heavy and larger than I expected.Once I unwrapped it I immediately gave it a test run on three of my largest brushes and quickly discovered I needed to get the brush bristles thoroughly wet. The silicone mat within the tin lid has a dense pattern that is raised enough to work the densely packed bristles of my flat top foundation brush, contour blender, and highlight blender very well.I couldn't find instructions on how to clean up afterwards, so I ran water over the scrubbing mat and turned it upside down to dry. The manufacturer recommends waiting for the soap to dry before closing the unit for storage.Over all I am very pleased with the look, performance, scent and how self contained this product is. I would not only recommend it to others but will reorder it again.

I love this product for cleaning my makeup brushes! It makes the process very simple and has increased the rate at which I clean my brushes. I also appreciate the product's portability, making it easy to bring on a longer trip (I travel a lot).
