ADE Huracan Optics - Perfect accessry for my Canik TP9sfx
i ordered the Huracan advanced optics - green for my new Canik TP9sfx match grade. The Canik comes with 4 optic mounts, and the Huracan fits base one. I too it out to the range last week and zeroed in at 15yds. The results were absolutely spot on. All 20 round - 16; 2-7, the rest being eight and nine in the 8, 9. and bullseye.I literally shot the center out of the target. The key to the accuracy was the ADE advanced optics, hurracan optics. Once zeroed in, it was simply a matter of putting the dot on the bull. I had to adjust a bit to the right, but discovered the two set screws on the back of the optic had kicked out while I was shooting. Having the switch on the front of the optic makes it easy to access for changes in any one of the 5 brightness settings.I notified ADE to order them. ADE shipped them to me at no charge. That, is good customer service.Good price, easy to install, easy to calibrate. So, what are you waiting for!

Sits nice and easy to operate
Not a triji but tries pretty hard! Looks good on a slide or a plate. Works well and keeps zero. You cant get better for cheaper.

Really solid optic, just one problem.
Very compact, very bright, solid battery life, feels very well made, and it's tough. I've had it for years, it's been on handguns and shotguns. It been dropped, slammed around, gotten wet, dirty, etc. Still holds zero and works like new.I have to only give 4 stars because of the button. It's very small and located in such a horrible location. It is extremely difficult to operate efficiently. You have to be very deliberate/forceful to operate it.I am generally not a fan of single-button brightness adjustment anyway (having to cycle all the way though every setting to get to where you want) but with this button being on the bottom front of the sight, you finger blocks the screen when making adjustments. This means you can't see through the dot while changing settings. To get it just right, you have to press it once, then look through it, then press it again, then look again, etc. and if you go to far you have to go all the way back around.I know this sounds nit-picky, and I suppose it is, but I just can't justify 5 stars with this feature. If the button was anywhere else I could give 5 stars.Otherwise, this thing is phenomenal for the price. If it's going on a range gun it doesn't matter if it takes a little bit to set it for your ambient lighting conditions. Buy it and enjoy. However, this is not a good option for a self-defense/combat pistol.

Won't buy again
Put this on my EDC pistol, a RIA 1911 commander. While it did zero fairly easy, and held zero for 500 rounds, I was severely disappointed to see that the screws holding the glass in had worked loose. Tightened the screws, and went home. Over the next week, I had no issues. However, after bumping into a wall, I checked my pistol and saw that the glass had come out and the frame had deformed. Won't buy this again.

Much, much more than I was expecting
OK; first impressions count. The ADE sight arrived in a fitted foam package inside an attractive and very sturdy two-piece fiberboard box. This company obviously takes pride in their product.Included with the sight are: 1) a fitted rubber cap that covers the entire sight, 2) an Allen wrench for opening the battery compartment inside the base, 3) a screw driver for making sight adjustments, 4) a 1 3/8 inch dial that fits over the screw driver shaft for precise indexing of sight adjustments and 5) a cleaning cloth. The sight itself is very well made and well finished. It is SMALL -- about half the size of other reflex sights that I have encountered. It is STREAMLINED -- no protruding knobs or battery boxes of any kind [the combined on/off/brightness switch is a rubber covered push button on the front of the sight, below the window, and is invisible when shooting]. The sight mounts very low over the pistol's bore; just above the top of the front sight. All of this combines to provide an uncluttered view that encourages shooting with both eyes open.It took only about 30 seconds to mount the ADE sight to the rail on my Ruger MK IV 22/45 Lite. It comes off just as quickly and maintains its zero when remounting, provided you position it in the same cross slot. Sighting in at 20 yards required only a few minutes and two sight adjustments to center the group in a two inch bulls eye.Criticisms? Yes. The owner's manual is sketchy. e.g. It does not tell you the value of the graduations for the sight adjustments. And I would prefer a dot smaller than 3 MOA. The size of the dot precluded using a one-inch bulls eye for sighting in.Overall I really like the sight. It is small streamlined and clear. It is easy to use and has an adequate range of brightness settings. If it proves to be durable in the next month, or so, I will buy a couple more.Jim

Great for the price! But...
Make no mistake: YOU HAVE to remove the Glock 41 rear sight for it to fit simply because of where the on/off button is placed and that the Glock 41 Gen 4 has a huge rear sight and the dove tail is elevated in the slide frame. So it's impossible to fit. The product description does not make clear what models of Glock it will fit, merely stating that in some models it can be fitted without removing the rear sight. Well... in the Glock 41 MOS it won't fit even if you remove the rear site for the reason stated in my first line. That button should be moved to the side and the frame of the sight should be shortened to fit large Glock MOS's, such as the Glock 41. I just requested an RMA. Sadly,

Why not
This little thing is pretty sweet for less than 50$ I run Vortex and Holosun on my pistols but I wanted a cheap one to throw on my ruger mark IV. It does everything it’s supposed to. The best part is it is actually daylight bright! Most inexpensive optics are not nearly bright enough but this one is. It appears to be much higher quality than the bargain $20 red dots. They even give you a one year warranty. I like that it remembers the last brightness setting when you turn it on. Bright, accurate and cheap. No regrets
