Way faster than expected. I’ve used this toy in the swimming pool about 6 times so far. The boat came with an extra battery so you have plenty of time to play. Read the instructions well this is a toy that requires maintenance and care with handling to last. Maybe not great for a small child without supervision. Good value durable and easy to use. Definitely crosses off all the boxes for the price range. Cool toy!

I’ve ran the boat through roughly 5 battery cycles. No issues. Runs for a really long time. Runs full throttle for entire time without noticing any power loss. Son absolutely loves this boat. Super maneuverable. Only complaint would be that it turns right much tighter than left. Not a big deal as I can still perform full throttle figure 8’s in a 10 ft pool without ever touching the sides of the pool. Can’t wait to get a second one.

For its size, it's quick enough but, the steering servo is weak and turning right is almost nonexistent. With it being itty-bitty, it's more for a pool than a pond and definitely not designed for a lake. With it not having self-rightening, you flip it, you're either going swimming or kiss it goodbye. When inverted, it's hard to see at all. Plus with the battery tray being too big for the battery, the battery isn't secure. There's better buys than this. Ran mine once, Amazon getting this back ASAP UPDATE: Since my review, I received a...let's call it a, automated response, (I'll post it if necessary) in which the company attempted to give me another vehicle. It's sad because they didn't address the issues their product has. Any boat in the XS series has an extremely higher chance of being lost when running in a pond and more so in a lake. They're so small, recovery boats tend to slide right over them. A black boat with a black bottom is hard to see in anything but crystal clear water. There are so many more better made boats in this price range that these should be sold at Family Dollar or Big Lots as novelties

I bought two of these for when my niece and nephews visit. They have a good range and run on the batteries for just the right amount of time. Long enough for me and the kids to be happy. These are kids toys though. Speedy for a 10 year old.

The speed boat does what it says in the description. It could use some more power. I hope the manufacturer would seize the opportunity to improve on a classic hull design and offer a brushless option for more serious motor boaters like me. Business would definitely be booming.

These are great "fast" little RC boats! Unless you have a big pool, you might want to stick to fresh water ponds/lakes to really open up the throttle. My son and I still had some dual (yellow/green) boat races in our swim spa, since they have nice tight turning radius when remote is toggled to 7:3, rather than the 5:5 rudder ratio. Battery life is good for motor power consumption and charges well with USB. Boat hatch seals nicely to keep water out of the elec hull. Nice that each boat comes with 2 batts for more race time! I would definitely recommend purchase to anyone who wants a little RC boat adrenaline rush.

Fun little boat for the lake I love it thats why i bought another one maybe a couple more in the future totally recommend for your kids or as a gift

Bought 2 of these for my grandsons they were a hit.

Save your money. This is complete junk. Only turns one way. The battery dies very quickly. It also feels very cheap. Not worth the money. I was very disappointed. I will definitely be returning this. One day use and I am already unhappy.
