Delicious!
This spice is perfect for mulled cider on a chilly day! It fills the kitchen with a comforting aroma that just says “ sit and rest a spell”. It calls for two teaspoons per cup but that is a little sweet, so one teaspoon is plenty for me. Try it! You’ll like it🤗

Makes the best cider
Just pour one full sized bottle of apple juice and one packet of cider into a big pan and bring to a boil. Super simple and makes the best cider!

Perfect
I love mulled cider. The local cider is always pure apple juice, so I add a teaspoon of this per hot cup of cider, and I'm right back to my childhood. Perfectly balanced, sweet but spiced, absolutely what I want for the holidays. Make cider, sprinkle it on a pastry, this is the stuff.

Great for cider
I love this for my apple cider. I like my cider with mulling spices and this is perfect. The flavor it gives to the warm cider is amazing. Will definitely be ordering more

Great for making an alcoholic hot apple pie drink with just apple pie moonshine and apple juice!

Perfect for the holidays.
Aspen spices are incredible. I have tried other mulling spices but they simply cannot compare in taste and they do not dissolve nearly as well. I generally make mulled wine with it on the stovetop...although I have used a coffeepot hotplate for office holiday parties. The coffeepot trick actually does make the wine the right temperature without the risk of reducing the alcohol and keeps it there...it just takes forever to heat up. I'm not too picky about the type of wine I use. The stronger the wine flavor, the more you will be able to taste it through the spices, so a hefty Cabernet or Malbec may be too much unless you prefer a stronger flavor. I wouldn't use really expensive wine for this either. Often I mix a Pinot Noir with a Shiraz. Shiraz is spicy by itself and Pinot Noir has such a subtle flavor that it doesn't compete with the spices at all.I also enjoy the spices in apple cider; it gives it a more traditional and warming flavor. Some have complained that the wrong product is in the picture. It is not. The picture in the description is the old carton design. The new redder cartons emphasize the spices being for cider but they are exactly the same spices they always were. The instructions for mixing it with tea, brandy and wine are all still there. Just look at their website for clarification; they don't sell any products with this design anymore.

Exactly what I needed
I used this for a recipe instead of using an expensive pampered chef ingredient. Worked great!

Excellent have made a lot of mulled apple juice as well as mulled wine over festive break and all been greatly appreciated. In Scotland with our lower drink drive limit I would only offer a driver mulled apple juice.Only ended up with 2 out 6 boxes as I gave away the rest
