I bought these for my High School aged son. He wanted a lighter less bulky shin guard, he plays roughly 3-5 times a week. He was involved in a pretty aggressive shin to shin collision where both players had to be carried off. The shin guard was cracked in a few places, that is the bad news. The good news is that my son did not break any bones or major fractures. So they did their job. Other bad news is we have to get a new set.

I must admit that I was a little skeptical about these shinguards. They looked overpriced and overengineered for what they are supposed to do. Boy was I wrong! These things are the bomb! My daughter got these just in time to get to a scrimmage with an older team in her club. The first impression was amazing - they are much lighter and comfortable than what she used to have. But what put this in a different category for me is the level of protection. She was mowed pretty harshly by a defender, a kick that I was sure would take her out of the game: it did not even leave a bruise. These plates are tanks. I am glad I got them for her. They afford a level of protection of much bulkier shinguards but are light and slick. In hindsight, this was a great buy and a great value for the money.

My son says these are his fave shin guards: light weight, flexible and strong!

No matter what it says in the description, you just get two Shin Guards, and a carrying case. I was disappointed that it did not come as a complete set with the sleeves, but the Shin Guards are nice, so I will just order the sleeves. I just ordered the sleeves, and they had reviews that said that they thought that the sleeves came with the shin guards, but they don't. Somebody need to get their descriptions cleaned up so people know what they are getting.

These shin guards are perfect! I've always hated how weird shin guards looked since most of them are so bulky and unnecessarily thick. Not these shin guards, they are very thin but quite solid and hard. They come in a nice case and they do include the sleeves. Seems others here got them with out the sleeves. I'm 5.10" and I got the Small size ones. They fit perfectly. I'm very happy with these shin guards in every aspect.

Very poor cutting on shin guard line. It looks like that human cuts the shin guard board by just school knife. Not smooth, irregular cutting. Definetely not machine cut. Sharp plastic piece can cut or damage shinguard sleeve or finger cut. I wouldnt mind this poor cut if price is cheap. But, absolutely not worth if you consider price level atound $40. Definitely overpriced product. Also pad and shingarud is not completely attached. Seperately after 1st use. I cant find any better value than other competitors products.

Light weight but incredible protection

I bought these for my son to wear during practice. He doesn't like the bulky feel of most padding, but these are different. They are so lightweight that I was a little concerned about how strong they would be. I tested them out and I was pretty rough on them just to be sure. They are surprisingly sturdy. They fit easily underneath his socks and feel rather comfortable.
