Bag is plastic, not leather, it is extremely sturdy inside and out, quality stitching, classy looking hardware, thick mesh on sides (animal can see out a little, but can't be seen from outside).Issues: my 6 pound Chorkie is fluffy and I have to take care not to zip his fur, only 1 small zipper pocket on outside that fits my phone or anything flat (so he gets to sit on my wallet) and zipper must be snapped in place on both ends or animal's head could pop head out. The dimensions listed are outside measurements; so the animal has a smaller space because there is a one inch trim on both sides (animal has 2 inches less length wise), there is a two inch trim on top (animal has 2 less inches in height), but width is the same. My dog can't stand up comfortably since bag has 2 less inches height-wise, so a long-legged dog might not be comfortable.He loves laying down in it chewing on a small toy and no one can pet him; which was an issue with my open top carrier. He has spent several hours going to the mall and a restaurant and he was a perfectly content.

Now, let me start by saying I have a small Pomeranian puppy 2lbs at 13 weeks that’s when I got the bag and took these pictures. (About 8 inches tall from the top of the head to the toes) there is plenty of room for him now.At fully grown he should weigh roughly 3.5 to 4 pounds and maybe 11 to 12inches tall. So this bag will give one fully grown Pomeranian plenty of room for a trip.*** There is very little zipped storage pocket on the side maybe 4-6 inches deep and 5 inches wide.***there is also a decorative but functional little clasps strap on the front to hang small items like a badge or poop bag holder, you turn the little center clasp vertical and the two side straps disconnect.Just an FYI:(it wouldn’t hold something heavy)I do like the thick mesh screen in the sides and top, feels like good quality and makes it hard to see inside the bag.*** I can see already I will need to reinforce the top at some point when the material starts to soften up a bit.Maybe using a wire coat hanger (wrapped and sowned into the bag to help it hold its shape)Or maybe glue in two thin pieces of stiff thin plastic or stiff cardboard to the inside walls.I will do my best to do a video and add it to the review soon.We shall see how it holds up… I will repost in a few months and report on how it’s doing…. This is a beautiful , well made bag. Im sad that it was too small for my pup.

This bag has a super nice look and long strap is great. No one has been able to tell that the animal was inside. The included outside zipper pocket does not allow very much room to put anything in it. But the main issue is after using it several times the sides no longer retain their shape, it will not stand up on its own and almost folds in on the animal. Very disappointed for the price. It lasted just long enough for the return window to close or would return.

Great honestly I love it but unfortunately the sides each have this little buckle on them and the cat can push its head up and get out if it's small enough but for the most part it's very good

This bag is gorgeous!!! It looks exactly like the product photos… maybe even better in person. Reminds me of the Hermes Birkin so can walk around with my kittens in style. Haven’t used it yet but looks like it would work great!!!! 😍🥰❤️‍🔥❤️

This carrier is perfect for my dog (5.5 pounds). He is able to lay down comfortably, but it keeps him contained. It is also a great looking bag! Very happy with it so far!
