How does handle work with the original Nebia base?

The Moen N214H0BL Nebia Nebia by Moen Spa Handshower has a switch on the hand shower that will convert the water to the handheld from the shower base. The Nebia system is used with your standard shower valve and trim kit to turn the water on/off and adjust the temperature. Can more than 1 handheld be added to the Nebia system?

No the bottom slot only has a spot for one handheld wand

Does the unit have enough room to add a splitter, in order to add a 2nd handheld unit?
