You are buying for yourself, not for the dog.
I am giving this product 2 stars because of the way the product is promoted. They sell this product based on the size of the dog. The difference in the three sizes is the length of the handle. It is ludicrous to promote the product handle size based on the dog. The loop at the end is the same size for all three sizes.You are not buying the product for the dog, you are buying it for the human. If you are six foot tall and have a little dog and buy this product with a short handle then you will be on your hands and knees to catch his poop. In fact when dogs poop they all squat so their asses are all very close to the ground. I found all three size handles to be inadequate for a 6ft person. Knowing that I purchased the small dog size and also bought the cheapest selfie stick and put the loop on the selfie stick. The stick extents out to 28" and folds down to the length of the loop. So it is now very compact but with a very good reach.

Needs pole extender
Holds the bag very easy but you can not extend the pole , you have to bend and hold it
