The original Vegeta is a 5/5! It’s an amazing vegetable seasoning that is so savory, it tastes more like chicken broth than vegetable broth. The secret is MSG. MSG is pure umami. It’s what gives Vegeta its richness and depth. If you don’t have a problem with MSG, stick with the original. If you do have a problem with MSG, switch to the “Natur” version. Natur is good but you’ll miss the umami flavor of Vegeta original. Yet you can add natural umami via Parmesan cheese, tomatoes, and mushrooms. What I found works best is adding dried shiitake mushrooms. Drying concentrates their flavor. I cut them up and add them to soups or stews. They really ‘beef up’ the Natur broth. Also, use Vegeta sparingly. Think 1 tablespoon of Natur = 1 bouillon cube. It’s that concentrated - and very salty! So start with 1 tablespoon per 3 cups of water and then, if you want more flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon at a time to taste.

I don’t use the seasoning on everything, but it really shines in soups and on avocado toast! It has an impressive ingredient list of vegetables, as well as plenty of salt, so go easy with it.

Really wanted to try product but the top was broke off and product all over box. Very sad as it smelled wonderful but refuse to eat open food products. Supposedly will be getting a refund which is great.
