Not the Nokias I remember.
Bought this Nokia as a dumb phone for myself as I was getting bored and started hating smartphones. It does the job has all the apps you need like WhatsApp, Google and Facebook. However, the design of the phone was not for me. The phone is extremely light, plasticky, and overall feels cheaply made. The buttons are large, and the screen size is adequate. Despite its flaws, the phone's battery life is impressive, lasting for a few days on a single charge. Additionally, the call quality is excellent, with clear and crisp soundand being a 4G phone. The phone also has a low pixel camera that takes decent photos in well-lit environments. Overall, while the design may not be appealing to some, this Nokia phone offers reliable performance and essential features.

Nokia 2660 flip phone
Nice flip phone, and a good alternative to smart phones if one has had one's fill of the latter. I am only interested in pressing buttons and making a conventional phone call, and for that it's perfect. The buttons are large and responsive and it's possible to silence the otherwise annoying 'beep' sound whenever a given button is pressed. The battery life is quite good, the cost not too high and the weight, light - though not so slim and easy to slip into one's pocket as some of the earlier 2G flip (clam-shell) phones of old. But at the same time, not overly large. The screen is quite big and easy to see, and it's possible to use either small or large size text if texting is desired.

Bluetooth does not link to car...
This on the face of it, is a great little phone.Perfect for the elderly (I bought it for my dad), nice big buttons, easy to use, bright screen, no complicated functions, emergency button etc. However, the active flip ..... Isn't! Kind of the whole point of a flip phone so you can answer and end calls by opening and closing it.I could put up with that, but the Bluetooth does not link to the car, it pairs, but it doesn't import the contacts, and all you get is static on a call.Is being able to use in a car, not pretty much the whole point of Bluetooth? I mean, why even have it is it does not?I have been online and several people have highlighted this shortfall!Unfortunately I did not realise otherwise I would never have bought it.

Good, but not worth the price!
I purchased this device in an attempt at a 'digital detox' under the impression that this phone had the ability to carry WhatsApp - it does not actually. Don't believe google when it tells you it does! It only has the standard features of your everyday 'dumbphone' that are available at much lower price points. It is also made out of cheap plastic (I thought Nokia had a reputation for durability??), so I would NOT want to drop it. The camera quality is rubbish - but has that 90s vintage feel and the max SD card storage is 32GBs. DON'T EVEN TRY to go on the 'internet' or Facebook - half the time it says "please try again" and other half is spent trying to get out of the application as fast as possible. On the other hand, the built in radio works very well, so no complaints there! I also love the dark green colour, as the whole has a very aesthetically pleasing design. If I were to buy again, I'd buy the cheaper dumbphone alternatives because I don't think I'm gaining 3x the utility with the Nokia 2660 when compared to the 20 pound ones. I'm now thinking I will get the CAT S22 Flip.Phone: Call quality is excellent, no complaints.Texting: I am able to send messages but not receive them, so it's a bit odd - but only sometimes does this happenBattery: ExcellentCamera: Terrible, but has vintage feel - also the phone has very limited storage, so a max 32 SD card is neededGames: They work but it gets boring after 3 secondsDurability: Very flimsy and would not survive a dropRadio: Works greatMusic: Theres an app for it, but it seems pointless...Torch: Works great if you only want to see 2 inches in front of you...

Good quality calls.
Big buttons are easy to use. Great battery charge - lasts for days. I found when setting the phone up that any calls made to it went straight to voicemail. This is not a fault with the phone - it is an issue with the network used. I tweeted Eir and asked them to remove the voicemail function which they did. The calls came through then. I found setting an alarm on the phone initially to be troublesome. I changed the time in settings to 24 hour time rather than am and pm. This eliminated the problem. Just little blips in setting up and no help from reading the manual!

Nice flip phone
I bought this phone for an elderly gentleman who couldn't use a smartphone and just wanted something simple.Setting it up was a bit fiddly but once done it works great apart from a few minor issues.THE GOOD:Nice form factor,Very responsive,Main screen is adequate as is the outer preview one,The fm radio is suprisingly good and doesn't require the headphones to act as an antenna.Voices come through nice and clear and at a good volume.Battery life is good, you will get quite a few days use out of a charge depending on your usage.THE NOT SO GOOD:It's very light and cheap feeling,The SOS button is in an awkward place and gets pressed far to many times in general use. I couldn't find a way to disable it so had to put a blank number in so it wasn't dialing constantly but it still puts a message onscreen every time it's accidentally pressed. The volume buttons are also too easy to press when holding it resulting in accidentally muting the ringer, which isn't ideal. You can't answer a call by flipping the phone open, you still have to press the answer key which is an odd design choice as the number ringing is displayed on the outer screen and you can hang up by flipping the phone closed. The camera is awful, but you don't buy a phone like this to take photos so it's to be expected. So a solid 4 stars from me, it serves its purpose but there's room for a few tweaks if Nokia ever do an upgraded version.
