I bought these hid them all over my brothers house. He called me one day saying he hears a cat and thinks it somehow got in his walls. Him and his kids looked for hours. When he found the device he was so mad. I laughed for hours. He took it to work. He works at a factory. Hid it in the ceiling of the break room and came back to work the next day with a note from 3rd shift saying they spent the whole shift looking for a damn cat.The cricket noise took him 3 weeks to find in his house. He knew what it was after he found the cat but couldn’t find it.Best pranks ever.

I got these to annoy my boyfriend.It was tricky placing it as I am never in his home when he is not there. I finally found a second alone and slipped the cricket one behind his washing machine just off his kitchen. It chirped the second I turned it on which is not good. He heard it and asked if it was my phone. It caught me off guard and I didn't know what to say and ended up saying yes instead of, "No, I was just going to ask you what that was."Then, it would chirp while I was there and he's ask again. That ruined the fun as I was sure I'd been caught but I left it anyway.The next day, he texted that he kept hearing the chirping sound we were hearing and it was driving him crazy. I'm positive he is just playing dumb to get me to admit what it is, because his memory is too good.I'll let him go crazy a while longer.So, I think its a clever way to have fun but I wish it didn't chirp the second you turn it on. It makes it hard to get it placed without making you the immediate suspect.Also, none of the sounds are very realistic. It's fine for a gag, but it would be more fun if they thought it was a real cat, cricket, or water drip.

At work, we have this thing called boo buddies where you can prank your person on Halloween. I used this and he was confused where all the sounds were coming from. I put in on ceiling behind his projector box so he couldn't see it. Even after Halloween, I left it up. He said the worst sound was the beeping because he thought one of his students didn't turn off their phone. Please buy this lol

There was only one sound that people could hear. It was not loud enough to catch anyone's attention. The water drip was not realistic either. It was fun for the one sound but I would not buy this again.

You can not adjust the sound level & you can’t pick a sound to play like other ones. It plays the seven different sounds one at a time. I thought it meant you could leave a message on it is why I bought it. But you can’t record a message on it, they give you stickers to write your message on. Not what I thought it was especially for 11.50! Crazy. Won’t do that again.

The thing was awesome! The only thing that would have made it better is if you could select 1 of the sounds vs it cycling through all of them. Im sure if it was only a cricket sound, my boss wouldn't have started looking for it so soon. Being it changed every time he started looking for it right away. Still took him 3 days and he took apart his desk . Had the magnet attached to the underside of his drawer.
