Pretty, didn't give me a rash, seems to be holding up pretty well when worn as a necklace, beads are 8 mm, or are at least very close (compared it to my 6 mm bead mala). Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it's 110 beads instead of 108. Not a huge deal for me, but may be for others.

This is my first ever set of malas. I saw some negative reviews and thought maybe I made a mistake in purchasing these. I got the black rosewood malas. I saw one reviewer say it doesn't have 108 beads only 100. I manually counted the set I received and can confirm 108 beads plus 1 guru bead making 109 beads. I saw several reviewers complaining these had a foul smell. I smell nothing off of the malas I got. I lile that it is strung with elastic and is very easy to wrap around my wrist. Four wraps and it fits perfectly. Haven't used these yet for my prayers and mediations, but I think these will do the job just fine. Very happy with my first set. And good price too.

This is nice quality and very pretty, but looks nothing like the color shown here. The item is received was a very dark cranberry color, not pink.
