I bought this to replace my breville iron that kept scaling up and not steaming properly. Lightweight, more stable on its end, heats quickly and irons efficiently, it does drip a little on occasion but the quick ironing makes up for that, lots of steam holes and iron right to the tip(I do a bit of sewing) I live in a hard water area so I'm hoping the microscale filter will mean it will last longer than 3 years. I had a voucher and it was on offer at £60, not so sure I would have paid £77!!

There are positives and negatives to this iron for me. It glides very well, the cable is a nice length, the handle is chunky, and it's very stable when stood upright on the ironing board. Overall it's well made and good quality. However it is very heavy and so isn't ideal for lengthy ironing, or if you are a more mature customer like myself, as it plays on the wrist somewhat after even a short time. The central dial is smooth to operate, but it is obscured somewhat by the chunky handle, and is a bit difficult to read the settings. To the degree that the iron needs to be lifted up to be able to see it which isn't ideal when it's already hot. If I didn't have a flag on my account for the number of returns I've made already, I would certainly return it. But that's the only reason that I'm struggling on with it.

Tefal Easy Gliss 260g is a great iron. Ironing is not my favourite chore - as it takes up so much time. Due to our water being very hard, the clothes are very creased, even if hung up to dry immediately after removing them from the washing machine. I use de ionised water to prevent the iron ceasing up from scale buildup. The iron glides smoothly over denim and cotton- it produces lots of steam even in eco mode. I have only used it once - but I am really impressed with it. Creases were quickly ironed out. The spray feature was effective on a stubborn crease. It also has a descaling valve which no doubt will come in handy.

This iron is not worth the money I paid for it. The steam iron leaks water all the time. Ive tried all the different waters like for example using hard mixed with distilled or deionized etc etc etc. Tried all the different temperature heat settings to no avail.. Looked at the majority of Utube videos showing how to use a steam iron without the water leaking, but still leaks. I have had other steam irons over the years, that didnot leak so dont tell me i that i dont know what im doing when ironing. All i learnt from this experience, is to avoid Tefal irons. Oh yeah, didnt have a choice but click the one star

Great iron light easy to use even for elderly person

My fourth Tefal iron and the only one which has disappointed. The tank is dark (my others have all been clear) so you can't see how much water is in it. The hole for the water is now much smaller than on previous irons so its more fiddly to fill. I can't find a good setting for steaming, its either full on or nothing. Weight is Ok, a little lighter than my last one and the soleplate is excellent as is the cord length. I suspect that I will be buying another iron sooner rather than later though as I am going to find this one annoying.

Good long cable. High steam output. Medium weight. Positive overall purchase. Negatives: needs refilling often because of steam output ( no real variance of steam output- a lot or little) can drip occasionally if temp is a little low ( on high steam)

This iron not bad but water is dripping I have returned it next day .
