Very nice bike
The bike is very nice, it is sturdy and of good quality, nice to ride also. I must say that the instructions are a little confusing and there is a part that I can't figure out where to install, I think it is supposed to be a water bottle holder, the only complaint I have is there is no foot stand, why doesn't it come with a foot stand??? How am I supposed to get the bike to stay up? I think that is much more useful than a water bottle holder. Now I have to purchase a separate foot stand for the bike. It does not make any sense.

Terrible instructions but nice bike
We just received the bike yesterday. The instructions are a joke! The technical writer should be fired!!!! If I had half decent instructions I could of assembled it in no time but because of the lack of, it took much longer than it should of. I’m pretty put off by it because its a simple thing to include with a bike you have to put together yourself. I would give it 0 stars for this if I could. The bike itself is great. So far so good. No complaints and it looks nice. If that changes in the future I’ll update my review.

Good bike BUT initial setup is not so easy
Bought for my 9yo daughter. She is tall, she fits with the seat near its lowest position, she would prefer the handlebars to be a little further out, but overall it works. The bike itself is quite good. It's not hard to put together but:- Don't expect ANY assembly guidance because there isn't any provided.- It's impossible to fit the front reflector that came in the box onto the handlebar without first removing the rubber/brake/shifter and sliding it on, because of the type of clip they've used.- The brake handle angle was not adjusted at all out of the box, and the brakes were positioned in an upright position, too- Out of the box the front brake was set to tight and pinched the wheel- I had to make adjustments to the Shimano system tooOnce you go through really quite a bit of pain getting it set up right, it's a good bike at a good price. But you're going to have to rely on YouTube to get it there.

Great bike for the money
UPS gets one star for delivery. But the bike finally arrived today.Assembly is not that difficult. The only problem is that the manual is not made for a partial assembly. You will have to adjust the handlebar after you put it in. Don't mess with the gears or brakes, just adjust the angle of the entire handlebar. Getting the front tire on is pretty standard. You will have to undo the wire by the front brakes... push it in to release (just watch a youtube video if you can't figure this part out). The rest of the assembly (seat and pedals) is a piece of cake. There's a black horseshoe shaped metal piece that other reviewers have mentioned. It is a gear guard... don't really need it. Just get a kickstand for the bike.Bike is SOLID. And looks great. My only complaint about the bike is that the gear shifters are really hard to turn and are not very smooth shifting. I'm aware that it's a $200 bike and I am hoping this will improve over time so I will keep my review at 5 stars.

If you are not handy with bike maintenance, this probably isn't for you.
The good: Kid thinks it's cool. The not-so-good: The assembly directions are not well written. The front brake needed significant adjustment for the bike to be usable. The front derailer needed significant adjustment for the bike to be usable. The Revoshift shifting system needed adjusted by tightening the cable. The bike comes with what looks like a water bottle cage, but there is no place to actually mount it. In fact, if you want a water bottle cage, the frame is such a wonky shape that you won't have a choice but to buy one that fits on the handlebars or on the back of the saddle.Overall, if you need a cheap bike, and you know your way around bike maintenance. This one is fine. Owning a bike repair stand makes things easier.

Bike
This Bike was very easy to set up and reasonable weight. It’s sturdy and durable. It fit me since I’m very short! It was easy to adjust.

Lemon...can’t recommend
Purchased April 2020. Monumental disappointment during our current pandemic. After my husband spent over an hour assembling, the handlebars wouldn’t stabilize making the bike useless. Like another review mentioned the instructions are general, not for this specific bike making it a little more vague to assemble. The video attached shows the stem cap that screws together with the stem cap bolts properly in place, but the stem cap never secures the handle bars despite being securely and properly screwed together- so you’ll see how the handle bars slide from side to side, turn and twist insanely loose. In the one image you’ll see the manual showing a black ring that came in the box loose. It appears to be a “headset wedge” that should’ve never been loose. In the page pictured (on the left side of the Headtube) it shows this section as “Installed by Factory” so why do we have a loose headset wedge?....Another item that came loose is the white wheel reflector for the back bike wheel. The front wheel pictured shows it pre-installed on the spokes. But not the case for our back wheel. Looks like it broke off during shipping? Maybe?Someone failed on the Q & A with this bike. We got a lemon.Being that we’re in the middle of our pandemic with COVID 19; we’re not even trying to contact DB potentially wasting more time than already invested (since another reviewer stated the pointless goose chase they went through). So good luck rolling the die here if you decide to purchase. Luckily we’re still able to return this. And as for a replacement, we’re just going to wait to go to a bike store (sigh).

Great bike
Great sturdy bike. Amazing quality for the price. I have it to my 10 year old for her birthday. She is loves it and has room to grow. For those wondering about the "spare" part, it's a rear derailer guard. For those kids that toss the bike down on the lawn when their finished with it. I bought the aftermarket kickstand most others bought on here. Works great. If in doubt when assembling call the 1-800 number in the assembly booklet, super helpful and knowledgeable.
