Awesome product for personal use

First thing quality is great, no doubt. Functionality part is also to the point, there are different modes for spray which is also very useful to wash vehicles. Now the part that need to be noted before buying - for confined space like in garage or using inside home, sound is little on the louder side. Second thing is that the pressure pipe from pump to gun is very small, like for washing your 4 wheeler, you need to carry the pump from one side to other or else it will not cover. So keep those two things in mind before buying. Otherwise everything is good and full functionality with top notch quality.

Started using it recently and found it to be a very good product. Water pressure generated is quite adequate for my intended use. Pros - - The pressure is quite good. - Easy to assemble. Ergonomics of wrapping up the equipment after use can't be more friendlier. - The motor switching off once the trigger is released is an excellent feature. Cons - - Auto switch off doesn't work some time. Especially once the water gets exhausted (If using a bucket or other small source of water) and air is taken in. - The hose length is too small. 6 meters is quite inadequate in my opinion. Keeping the equipment away from water spray is bit of challenge because of this. I wonder if we can get a lengthier hose to connect. - The three pin plug provided is bigger in size. Most of our homes will have 10 Ampere sockets and hence this bigger plug won't fit in there. Since the power rating is 1300 W, smaller plug would do the work. Update 12-Sep-2024 Started using the product. Initially was very happy for the reasons specified above. But I have reasons to be disappointed now after using it for couple of weeks. The pressure gun hose connected to the outlet nozzle got jammed(not sure why, though). And while trying to unscrew the hose from that the nozzle, the outlet nozzle broke...!! Please have a look at the images attached. Then I called couple of service centers (from the list provided along with the delivered product). But the response was unprofessional. One center informed they have stopped the service of Black and Decker and the other did not even respond to my messages. How do I fix the problem now? Can anyone from the Company respond to this feedback? Waiting eagerly. Update - 12-Mar-2025 After searching for quite some time, I managed to get in touch with one workshop/service center who agreed to have a look. After keeping it for nearly a month, he got back saying that the motor itself has to be replaced and the cost would be Rs. 5,700.....!!! I had paid around 6.5 K for the product. The motor to be replaced for a broken outlet nozzle....!!! I replied saying that he must be kidding. But he was dead serious. Despite being in the engineering field for quite some time, I couldn't come to terms with this kind of product design.....!!! Now it's just lying completely useless in spite of having a working motor. I just want to know now if there is a way to contact the main dealer/regional center of black and decker. Would be very helpful we can give the feedback directly to the company. I have reduced the rating to single star since negative rating is not an option. Amazon has to take these kind of issues seriously. This is a must to avoid severe customer dissatisfaction/frustration in the coming days.

Value for your money

Used it a couple of times. Appears to be reliable. It does not come with a self priming inlet adaptor and hose (for use with buckets of water) - the inlet adaptor is meant (garden) hose hooked to taps which can keep the valve in the adaptor open. Also, you'd need a 16amp socket to use it.

I purchased this machine a month ago for 10.3K and over it I had a CC discount of 1k, so final price was around 9.3K. Its an average product. If you can get this at a price less than 10K its ok. There is no hose connector or suction hose with this product. If you want to buy a quality hose, hose connector, tap adapter and a foaming can you have to spend approx 4K more on amazon. I suggest you to visit a hardware store for this purpose, bcoz i wasted my money on amazon since it was full lockdown when I had to buy all this. Foam can which comes with the product is of no use So buying it for 12K or 15 is waste of money. Better try some other product. Coming to the performance of the product, it performs averagely good. It sucks water from bucket if you prime it and keep the bucket level slightly higher than the machine level but BD technician told it is not recommended. It is also advised to have a minimum inlet pr of 6-9bar to achieve full machine capacity. If you have a good inlet pressure then your outlet pr is rocking😍. Sometimes I struggle to take the lance out of pressure gun since it gets jammed. One Major issue with the product is the crystal filter in the inlet has water leakage even after threading it with white thread. So if used indoors, then there is a small pool of water around the machine. Outdoor its ok to have a pool 🤪😂. Maybe I don’t know to use it. Someone pls suggest if its an issue only with me. Overall it an average product with slightly above average performance. For the cost being charged, it would be nice if BD provides inlet hose, hose connectors and a good quality foam can.
