The coin came in plastic case. Thinking of taking coin out of case and use watercolors to color in. Then put it back in plastic.For once everything went like planed. coin looks great. Delivery was spot on. Will order here again.

I bought these for my poker loving son at UK. When visiting, we engaged in many hands of poker where I won back a fraction of his tuition and thoroughly enjoyed his company and poker skills. Highly recommend to help bond with an adult child over a good Old Fashioned.

I’m not much of a poker player, and I’ve never even heard of a ‘poker guard’ or ‘card weight’. But like most LEOs and ex-military guys, I do collect ‘challenge coins’. I have dozens, and I’ve purchased and traded hundreds, so I have a lot of experience with coins like this.The coin comes with a clear plastic two-piece case, common to this type of coin. You also get a poker chip bag, which is really nice. The bag’s made of heavy green velvet, measures 5” x 7 ¼”, and closes by pulling two drawstrings with wooden beads on the ends. All of it comes sealed in a plastic resealable bag.Price-wise, this is in line with similar coins, and it’s on the low end of the scale. The thickness and diameter is about average, and as advertised - 40mm in diameter, and 3mm thick. I measured it with my digital caliper, and it was actually a little thicker, at 3.15mm.Weight is a hair lighter than advertised, but about average at 28 grams, which is exactly one ounce. It’s made of steel, which I confirmed using a magnet. It’s a hefty coin, and makes a ‘thunk’, not a ‘tink’ when tossed on a table.Most of my coins have a plain edge, and some are lettered or have a special decorated edge. These have what’s called a reeded edge. That means there are perpendicular lines on the edge of the coins, originally meant to prevent ‘coin clipping’ when coins were actually made of precious metals. In any case, the reeding on these coins is subdued, but prominent enough to be easily noticed.The face of the coin is super cool, and the reason I got it. The skull is a decent rendering, and features what appears to be a little lead poisoning in the forehead, right above and between the eyes. The colors are perfect, and the lacquer paint lines are clean and exactly where they belong.I would have liked for the back to have some color to it, too, but it’s just bare metal embossed with the company’s name and purpose of the coin. No matter, I still think this is a really good buy.Hope this helps.

It is a simple coin with the same face on both sides. It looks good, has a pleasant weight and feel. I had no issues with chipping, flaking, or any other issues from cheap paints and metals.

This is really nice card protector. It's relatively heavy. Comes with a small velvet carrying pouch. I've gotten numerous compliments about my protector. Love the humor on it
