Great purchase, definitely satisfied.
This review is going to come off as biased because of how ecstatic I am with this purchase. I was in no way compensated by, and I'm not affiliated with, the brand in anyway.I spent way too much time doing research between the Sony XM5, the Bose quiet comfort ultra, and the Sennheisser Momentum 4. All had their strengths and potential drawbacks. I'm no audiophile, but those I talked with recommended the momentum 4s over the Bose and Sony for quality of sound. The online reviews seemed to confirm this. My immediate reaction was the reviews were correct. The sound is excellent, and the headphones do a great job with producing the entire range (highs to lows.) Bass was minimal initially, but after downloading the app, I was able to customize the eq settings more to my liking. They sound phenomenal.One of the main upgrades I was looking for from my pervious set was comfort. I wanted something that I could wear for long periods without hurting my ears and head. I still believe the Bose were the more comfortable (noticeably lighter being the main difference.) But the Sennheisser was extremely comfortable as well. They don't clamp my head tightly, causing fatigue. This also means I won't be using them to workout, but that was never my intent for these. I couldn't justify the difference in cost for the Bose for what I considered a minimal improvement in comfort.All 3 brands offered lots of bells and whistles. Auto pause, good microphone quality... The noise canceling function was great for all 3, with there not being a big enough difference one way or another to matter to me.I had ruled out the Sonys pretty early due to the many online complaints I read about their durability- apparently their frame design is prone to breaking easily and sony does not stand behind it. Sennheisser has its own issues- they're discussed on a lot of forums. It seems they're mainly software type issues with volume control, etc. My personal experience is that the touch controls aren't quite as accurate as I would like (when I touch the sensors on the headset to adjust volume, it's hit or miss. I may just need more practice. This can also be adjusted more accurately by using the controls on your phone or computer ) This is a small annoyance to me, and not anything that influences my overall experience.Once I narrowed down my choice of headset, I went looking for the best deal.I was a little leery of purchasing anything refurbished as opposed to new, but the cost savings and the year warranty helped me to justify the risk. The fact that they were refurbished by the manufacturer as opposed to a random technician was the deciding factor for me. I couldn't be more happy with the purchase. They arrived in the box, with case and all original components. Everything looked pristine and brand new. The case seems to be well made.I love the sound quality. Again, this isn't a $6,000 set of wired headphones connected to a cherished vintage hi fi record player. These are wireless headphones playing compressed audio files, so take it with a grain of salt. But for what I bought them for, they do an amazing job and I'm ecstatic with the purchase. I would by them again in heartbeat.

Best ANC/Blue tooth headphones ive ever used.
Better than airpods and the sonys. The amount of features is insane. Most importantly though, the sound quality is out of this world. High frequencies, Large Bass, Comfortable for big heads. Haven't tested them in the gym yet.

Awesome Aesthetics/Sound Quality, and Great Feature Set. Garbage cushions and wonky ear detection
I had a very long international trip coming up and was in need of some good noise-cancelling headphones. After doing my research I decided sound quality had priority over noise-cancellation (NC) and went for the Sennheiser M4s. Saw them being sold on the Amazon Renewed store for almost half-off but they were sold out by the time I made up my mind. The micro-millisecond I saw the renewals being sold again I immediately snatched a pair.They arrived with a few finger smudges (didn't care since they were non-new) and I really liked the way the looked. But after trying them out the next couple of days I realized I had a major issue with them: they became uncomfortable to wear after 10 minutes and couldn't be worn for more than an hour before the ear pain became unbearable.This is 110% because of the default cushions for two main reasons:1). When wearing them your ears are pressing up against the drivers so they are putting considerable force on your ears.2). For me at least, the cushion's inner circumference is extremely small so my ears are getting "compressed", making them ache after a little while.These made the headphones practically unusable. Upon closer inspection the provided cushions are actually really cheap. They are really small and its like they took dollar tree foam and wrapped it in fake leather from Temu. That's crazy for headphones that MSRP at nearly 400 bucks USD.On top of that, the on-ear detection was wonky out of the box. If you moved your head or tried to re-adjust the headphones your content would automatically pause because it thought you took them off, and sometimes it was a pain to get them to re-detect your ears. This feature can be turned off in the setting though, so relatively speaking its a non-issue.BUT, the reason this product still gets 4 stars is because the cushions are actually stupid easy to replace, which gives them huge bonus points for being user repair friendly. I was able to get some replacement cushions from Wicked Cushions for like 23 USD and they totally blew the originals out of the water. Ears no longer rested on the drivers and the larger inner diameter allowed them to actually fit over my ears properly, so the discomfort and pain issue was completely eradicated. That being said, they actually made the on-ear detection issue even worse, to the point where you couldn't even chew or yawn without it pausing your stuff. But again, that feature is toggleable so that's a hit I'm willing to take. Overall they made the headphones look and even more importantly feel way more premium.These headphones paired with the wicked cushions were the heroes of my trip. Nearly 44 hours of cumulative flying. I don't know what I would have done without them. Their noise-cancelling ability nothing to write home about, but I'm playing for mitigation, not prevention. It was more than enough to spare my ears from the aircraft rumble and some child that was crying and whining literally the entirety of a 15 hour flight (of course the little one only then fell asleep as we were disembarking the aircraft).The touchpad feature is really cool and I prefer it over the traditional buttons on competitors, no issues with that. Great app with awesome UI, tons of features. The bass is shockingly good depending on the song. The first power on reminiscent of a movie theatre somehow.In the custom case the headphones arrive in comes a audio cable and a two-pronged adapter. DO NOT LOSE THOSE, LET ALONE THROW THEM AWAY. They plug into the entertainment systems on planes so that you can use them in place of the Ali Express headphones the usually provide. Extremely convenient to be able to use your own.In the last 3 photos attached (photos with removed cushions), the original is always on the left and the new wicked cushions are on the right.Product rating without upgraded ear cushions:-0.5 for wonky ear detection-3 for cushions for provided cushions being garbage quality and ridiculously small making them unusable+1 for user repairabilityoverall: 2.5 starsProduct rating with upgraded ear cushions (continuing from previous score):+2 for premium comfort and looks (actually useable now)-0.5 because I have to do this in the first placeoverall: 4 stars

refurbished=perfect
perfect sound quality with a detailed equalizer for user preference and I saved over $100. A huge step up from Apple, beats, Sony, etc. No cosmetic differences on my end from pictures of a brand new set. Comfortable and flexible

Outstanding sound
Compared with Sony's flagship wired headphones paired with the Chord Mojo 2, this wireless system is 85% of the way there in terms of sound quality, which is a tremendous achievement. The level of clarity, detail, and dynamics is unmatched in the wireless space at this price category, and punches up when considering wired counterparts. In addition to a modern, tasteful tuning, the soundstage is wide and provides enough space for great layering and directional cues.All of this amounts to an incredible wireless experience. When listening to a lossless, well-recorded song, it will feel like you are in the recording studio. Emotive. Combined with an outrageous battery life and strong noise cancelling, this product is effectively blurring the line between wireless offerings and traditional high-fidelity systems.
