I save NAS and regular drives and they fit perfectly. I would still not drop them but they stack nicely for storage. I am always swapping with bigger drives.

For years I'd been using cases where the drive slides in. The inside dimensions made it difficult to extract the hard drive when needed. Then those wimpy hinges broke off.Our new ones are durable, easy to open, and they handle well. With the flip of a latch, I can safely handle the HDD without my fingers touching sensitive electronic areas. Thank You!

I dont know what kind of claim this enclosure has when it comes to "shockproof", but this case will not protect your hard drive from any fall from any height. No hard drive will survive a drop with this case no matter how high you drop it from. The only thing this case can protect the hard drive against is maybe static electricity and dust. There is just a some really soft foam inside the case that will do nothing for shock absorption. You might as well pack your hard drive in tissue paper and that will help as much as that piece of foam.Im happy with the case, b/c its better than the bare drive just sitting on my desk. Now its in a small box.

Perfect bare 3.5" hdd case for all of my raw UHD Varicam and other cinema cams footage. I bought this just because it resembles the '90s analog 422 480i Betacam SP 30 min video tape. It is 2 lbs heavy vs lighter video tape when holding it. 30 years later it is all digital 4444 uncompressed and almost uncompressed uhd footage. Easy to ID my content during gruelling international travels. The orange and blue color helps to separate the main and 2nd copy backup. By 2021, 20 Tb and 22 Tb hdds will be released to reduce the # of hdds need to carry. I don't know how well it can handle the luggage being carried and driven all over the world but it is cheap enough to get replacement if the plastic breaks off.

Well made for long term storage, come with labels, internal foam padded case.While cases are well made, seem light for rough shipping, suggest store case in bubble wrap before shipping.I will be buying more in future - thumbs up!
