This product exceeded my expectations, so I wanted to share my experience. I used the green to color my beard and eyebrows for a costume. I was surprised not only by the quality of the color, but that it stayed, didn't cause a mess and was super easy to clean up. I have sensitive skin and it didn't irritate me. The smell was very mild. Consistency wise, I would describe it as a thin paste or a thick paint. It's not a typical wax grooming product that you need to heat before applying. It dried hard but didn't crumble or otherwise get everywhere. It's safe to accidentally touch, though it does come off if you actively rub. It didn't come with instructions, so this is what I did: A little goes a long way, and I needed less than expected. Apply a small amount at a time with your fingers section by section. Blow dry on low to dry it. Use conditioner to wash it out. I suspect if you cake it on too thick, it'll crumble later. I wouldn't try to comb or style after it dries.

This is the bomb! Brings out your curls, smells super good, feels good and the colors are bright and pretty, especially in the sun. Depending on your hair type a little may go a long way for me I have black 3b-3c hair and so to make sure it shows I went crazy with it! Easy to apply just rub some in your hands and apply it to your hair, (please use gloves). You can do this when it it's wet or dry. I think it's better when it's damp/wet you get better curls just be careful as this stuff is a bit crunchy lol Also it takes a longggg time to air dry so don't do this overnight and blow dry on very low heat🙌🏼 One more tip, this stuff does indeed transfer! so wear a dark scarf so it doesn't get on your pillow case and try not to rest your head on your car head rest😅🤣 Very easy to wash out and last about a week before color starts to fade🤗 Got mine in purple and blue, the blue is wayyy brighter than the purple!

I have to admit that I love these. I've had mine now a couple of weeks and I am having a hard time resisting adding a different color to my hair each day. I have very dark hair that normally requires bleaching to color, and my hair isn't currently bleached. These colors show up nicely. They are bright but not electric (except in the sunlight). The website says they are cruelty-free, too, so yay for fun guilt-free colors! I will admit that it took me a couple of tries to get this to work, especially in my daughter's long hair. My inclination was to read the instructions and then lather this on and brush it out, but that didn't work out at all. So I want to advise, because I see there are some negative reviews where people are having the same problems that I had at first, but I was able to find ways to make it work without being thick, sticky, waxy, or caked on. First, although the instructions say to apply to wet hair, I have had a lot better luck applying this dry. Second, it says to start at the roots and work toward the ends. This is what I do with my short hair, but with long hair, I found applying at the ends and slowly moving up to work best. I work with small chunks at a time, and put the rest of the hair up in a clip so that it doesn't get in the way. Third, it says to put a dime-size on the palm of your hand, rub it in to your hands, and then apply. YOU REALLY WANT TO USE THIS LITTLE (or at quarter-size at the very most, but a thin quarter, not a thick one). It may seem, especially if you have dark hair, that the color is far to light when you apply such a small amount, but the best way to get a nice rich color is not to cake it on but to create layers. Put a little bit on, then a little more, then a little more, etc. Yes, it takes longer, but you'll actually get soft colored hair instead of waxy caked hair. You also need a brush with the bristles pretty close together. I have been using my daughter's detangler brush (http://a.co/4qBZvQz) and it works great! My hair is not as soft as normal, but it feels like I have a little bit of hairspray in it, not like it's full of gel or wax. I hope this helps you use this product. Now, there are a couple of cons. The first one is that this stuff smells like men's cologne. It's not an unpleasant smell, but it's not subtle. Since I bought this hair wax for myself and my daughter, the smell overrides the more subtle fragrances we wear. I wish the smell was less overbearing and less masculine. The second issue is that the "red" color is really more of a magenta. For us it's not really a big deal. My daughter likes the "pink" color, although I had been hoping for the flame red that appears in the pictures. This is something you should know before buying the pack, just because it isn't as pictured. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I'm having a great time with these colors, and I will absolutely buy these again. What a nifty product!

Good color pay off, easily washable. 3 stars bc The color transferred onto other fabrics. It worked for what I needed (my kids spirit day) but I would probably search for a better product before buying this again.

I was the silver surfer for Halloween and chose this because I wanted my hair to look kind of hard and have that stationary effect (I posted a pic of the character too just to show what I meant.) I have long hair but didn’t come close to running out. It’s also brown but easily turned silver. It isn’t like the most fun texture on your hair to have but that’s kinda obvious going in. I was nervous it would be horrible to wash out or just difficult/make it really tangly but it was crazy easy and honestly a brush ran through my hair probably easier than it normally does after only one shower. So if you want silver hair with that sort of hard/CGI texture I’d totally recommend this. Crazy easy to use and wash out.

Ordered black, jar says black, but it's silvery gray like pencil lead. Spent the better part of an hour applying it hoping it would look better when it's dry, but all it did was slightly darken my brown hair and feel awful. Went in like vaseline and felt like glue when dry. Washed out of my hair well enough but stuck to my shower. Only saving grace is that it doesn't smell bad, but that's a pretty low bar.

Echt tolles Gel, wenn man mal verrückte Farben haben möchte ohne sich die Haare zu färben. Ich finde es etwas teuer, aber hat sich gelohnt.

I brought this for my 8 yr old son who wanted blue hair, it’s a brilliant hair wax and the colour is so vibrant. As soon as you wash you hair the colour comes out easy when you have school on Monday

I bought this product for my son for crazy hair day at school. It was so easy to use and even easier to take off. The colour was so vibrant, he does have blonde hair so maybe took better.

Easy to apply; great colour; lasted all day; mixed well with my moustache wax, washed out easily.
