Wasn’t sure if this would help me write in my fountain pen notebook but it makes a big difference. I can write on my lap using this. I can highly recommend it after using it for months now. It fits perfectly with a tab sticking out the side so you know what page to go to. Really happy with the value.

Definitely helps me write more clearly in my journals. Also using it in my journaling Bible lately because the paper is so thin, useful in different situations. Easy to see where it is under a sheet of paper since it’s black & fairly rigid. Good value would buy again.

I have multiple Pencil boards and am disappointed I did not find them sooner. It really helps me with writing lighter, but still with enough pressure that it doesn't feel weird. I like using them as a barrier between my planner pages when I am not sure if the ink has dried. Very helpful when stamping a page and preventing the ink from transferring onto another page.

It was the right size as I used it with an A5 book and it stuck out slightly. I thought ut would be harder material but when I used a pen on the paper it was very sturdy. I even used it behind 3 pages and still worked flawless.

I typically purchase my Hobonichi planner and cover directly from Hobonichi, but it's nice to be able to purchase the accessories elsewhere. I love shitajikis. I use them in almost all of my notebooks/planners regardless if they are a Hobonichi or not. Gives the perfect amount of smooth surface so the pen doesn't skip or hit a sticker or ephemera bump that may be in my planner/journal. Love the colors too. The pop of pink is so classic with the navy.

It works just fine. Did not realize it was just one board and did not know what size it would be. I got A5. Not sure if that is what everyone got.

The product is perfect. The feel is elegantly Japanese. The feel of the paper is perfect. Additionally the packaging is so perfect that none of the edges are even slightly bent.Every aspiring jounalling individual who wants to be a part of japanese journalling should buy this product.

It’s lightweight and sturdy and thin enough to keep it in full-time. It can double as a bookmark to save place in the planner.
