We had serious concerns about our newly adopted puppy when her chronic coughing and demodex infection (commonly called puppy mange) wouldn't clear up. When we adopted her, she was in the midst of a round of antibiotics. The rescue agency assured us she'd be better in a few days. I always believed the body should have a natural healing process. It is no different for dogs. The best defense against disease is nutrition. Having a strong reserve will keep them out of harms way. Our year old Maremma dog is still building that defensive immune system and was susceptible to catching Kennel Cough while socializing with the other pups at the dog park. I'm very familiar with Amber Technology's different formulas but Tossa K is one we hadn't tried before. Our most recent foster dog came home with kennel cough, and one of ours started coughing soon after. I decided to try this rather than anti biotics from a vet visit, and it helped her beat the cough in a few days! Our dog was really good about taking it even though it smells very herbal. Definitely worth trying to skip the meds!

I don't normally write reviews (because I'm lazy), but I just had to with this product! We adopted a puppy from the Humane Society and sure enough, the little bugger started hacking away about 2 days after we brought him home...then 2 days later our other dog was making the same god-awful noise. So, since we are poor-folk, I couldn't afford any type of meds the vet would have prescribed and didn't want to give them antibiotics anyway (don't get me started on that subject!). I found Kennel-Koff on Amazon and the reviews were glowing. I had some funds left on a gift card I received, so I had this shipped 2-day. It came right on time and in the typical Amazonian "way too big shipping box for what was inside" box. The dosing instructions are easy to follow and straightforward.But like I said...we're poor. So since this is just a 1 ounce bottle and we have two dogs in the 10 drops per dose range, I would have run out in about 3 days. (plus I'm lazy...did I mention that??) Gave them both 10 drops each on a little piece of bread right away. Within about 2-3 hours I noticed that the hacking-dry heaving-painful sounding noise was lessened. I ended up only giving them 10 drops per day for about 5-6 days and let me tell you this stuff WORKS!! I am so pleased with finding a natural product that does what it claims. Our 10 weeks old puppy got the Kennel Cough at a pet store we bought her from. The 2 rounds of antibiotics took care of a secondary infection but a month and a half later she was still coughing pretty bad. In my search of a natural way of treating the illness I came across an article on holistic pet medicine that talked about different herbs and remedies including the Kennel-Koff. I was glad to be able to find it here on Amazon and decided to give it a try right away. The medicine had to be given 4 times a day which was very difficult to accomplish with our schedules so we decided to do just 3 time a day. I used a dropper and put the liquid (6 drops) right in to the palm of my hand and topped it with just a few drops of honey. Our little girl loved the taste and licked the palm clean, and after that came running for the medicine every time she saw my hand out. The directions say it should be given for 10 days and I thought that may be it will take a little longer since we gave it to her 3 times a day instead of 4. But it worked just fine anyway. ON THE 7th DAY THE COUGH WENT AWAY COMPLETELY AND NEVER CAME BACK ANY MORE! We still gave the medicine for the full 10 days and now it has been 2 weeks completely without any coughing.
