Love love love. Great with a cuppa or some cold milk. One or two is all you need to get a wonderful chocolate fix with yummy soft vanilla cake. I appreciate that they come individually wrapped so they stay fresh longer. Wonderful for roadtrips and easy to share with friends and family (just one tho’ can’t be losing my supply all Willy nilly!) I always feel like “Rich Auntie” When I indulge in this decadent snack.

I probably had too high expectations for this product since it’s made in France, but it feels like buying a bag of Lay’s potato chips—mass-produced items. The ingredients are very complicated and not very desirable. Years ago, I tried Paris's famous Fauchon Madeleine, which used to be available at any Neiman Marcus, but around COVID-19, Madeleine from this confectionery is no longer available in the US. I prefer to buy large multi-packs of madeleines from Sugar Bowl Bakery or Donsuemor at Costco. The seller provides excellent service and fast shipping.

My review is not a reflection of the item- it reflects the packaging. These are delicious Madeline’s- soft, buttery & individually wrapped in a plastic bag. This is the second time I have purchased them. The first time I ordered them they were shipped in a box so they were still fluffy & held their shape on arrival. This time they were placed in a thin Amazon shipping bag so when UPS delivered them to me they were smashed. I will keep them because I’m sure they will still be edible & I don’t like to waste food - not to mention what a hassle it is to return things. But it was an incredibly poor choice to package cake like baked items in a plastic bag for delivery. I understand the desire to limit unnecessary packaging but common sense really should have prevailed here.
