A really good taste treat
I've been drinking gin and tonic for many decades but read about this item in the Wall Street Journal Weekend edition as an interesting departure from the classic sweet gin and tonic. Tastes for gin and mixers are all over the place from super sweet to lots of sour lime no to mention gin which includes the horrid and obsurdly expensive Hendricks. This tonic is not cheap, but it does contain the essential quinine and some other really good and tasty things. When mixed with soda water it is an excellent departure from the classic sweet tonic waters bought anywhere to mix with gin of any flavor.I like its slightly bitter, but not citric bitter, taste.

Not your typical bar tonic water.
Beware that this is highly concentrated tonic syrup and your G and T will be brownish, not clear. Otherwise, it is delicious in flavor and easy to mix. Mosquitos hate it!

Was also looking to take my gin and tonics to the next level....
This stuff is okay, honestly though it tasted like I mixed my gin with aftershave. Some people might like it I thought it was alright but I think I'll stick to store bought tonic though.

A Completely Different Experience
If you are into Gin & Tonic, tonic syrup is a completely different experience. You get all the refreshment of a G&T, but the tonic syrup, mixed with club soda is SO MUCH better than your typical tonic water, it creates a whole new drink experience. I find it really enhances the florals or dryness character of the gin - and gives a slight hint of sweetness. And when someone sees you drinking a brownish hued G&T - it always starts a fun conversation. Try it. It's just better.

expensive but tasty
Wow, what flavor. No, it does not taste like schwepps, it is not uber-bitter. I am glad it is what it is, but I think this is too expensive. I'm giving it 4 stars because it really is that good. I might order the 750ml size if I was having a tasting, but not for day to day drinking.Do give it a try.Tastes of lemon with a subtle sweetness and a good amount of spice to back it up.If I was given a bottle I'd be very happy.

Fresh Gin and Tonic
As a relatively recent convert to the joys of Gin and Tonic, I've been exploring various gins off the beaten path and recently discovered the boutique tonic market. Tomr's Tonic is amazingly good with the right gin. This is not for a robust traditional gin but works very well with the more botanical gins or even a pre-prohibition gin like Hayman's Old Tom Gin or Deaths Door Gin. The subtle flavors will be lost on a heavy juniper gin like Sloane's Gin or Beefeater. The downside to buying this tonic is that you will run out much sooner than you think. So do yourself a favor and buy the big bottle rather then small bottles like I did :)

Not anything that tastes like tonic
This mix has a really raw taste, like drinking bark water. If that is what you like, enjoy. But me, I will go back to the Soda Stream Diet Tonic mix.

Present for my dad
This takes a classic drink and turns it upscale. Ill be buying again for my own collection.I got this as a present for my dad as his favorite drink is the gin and tonic. This is a serious upgrade over store bought tonic - this is made with real ingredients rather than using synthetically produced quinine. The tast is stronger, earthier, and brings out the flavor of the gin. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to take their bartending skills up a notch.
