I'm using these in a center piece, they are beautiful and love the remote control.

Very dark red in color
Unusual smell which dissipated slowly. Candles are okay, but the remote only turns them on and off. The remote’s functions for timer and switching between “candle” flicker and “light” no flicker does not work. Keeping them, but disappointed in the overall quality. Made in China, so I got what I paid for.

Look real because they kind of are real
These are actual wax candles. Instead of traditional flame wicks, they have LEDs. They look totally real with the same ambiance as real candles.For me, this might be bad, being wax. I want to keep them in a cabin that will be intermittently used. It might get warm enough to melt them.Giving the full 5 stars because they look and work perfectly as intended.
