An amazing PSU for a strong PC build. I have no problem using this 1000w MSI PSU to power my 9070 xt along with my B850 Tomahawk and 9800x3d CPU. I am also running 9 fans and everything runs smooth. Being fully modular makes this PSU installation a breeze as well. Plenty of cables for any job you also might have. Great job MSI!

It works perfectly so far. I was worried about whether it can work with 5090, but looks like it did. I have the monitoring tools in my computer and the temperature looks good.

Its the perfect size for any PC tower, and you can tell its built to last for years to come, it comes with a 10 year warranty! As with all MSI products its easy to install and comes with clear precise instructions.

Runs quietly with no issues. Comes with a pouch for the extra cables. Has 12VHPWR connector for new NVIDIA GPUs. I haven't had any issues with the connector.

After a year and a half of honestly very intense use with gaming and 3D modeling at very high resolutions my GPU started crashing, and I smelled a really awful burning smell. I immediately took my computer apart and found a melted 12VHPWR cable (on both ends). I used the stock cable that came with this power supply.I would not recommend this power supply for any people who use their systems very intensely. I installed the cable correctly and it was very snug and never came loose. I believe the issue happened due to an underlying design flaw that only shows up with extreme use. I work with 3D software for games and modeling, and I use a 7680x2160 monitor and play Black Desert on the highest graphics. Needless to say though, the conditions don't justify melting cables. I was using high end hardware for a high end use case.additional context: My GPU was the MSI RTX 4090 Gaming TRIO
