These cones are at least 3cm tall with an average burn time of 12 to 20 minutes. As they were being hand made they do vary slightly in shape and size. Holding the cone on its side light the tip of the cone with a match or taper until a flame appears at the end of the cone. Place the cone on a heat resistant surface and resist the temptation to blow out the flame. Allow the flame to go out on its own and the incense cone will continue to smoulder, releasing the smoke, infused with the scent. The cones should be placed on a heat proof surface or dish when lit and should not be left unattended
